From: Kaimi Kyomoon From: LittleMe Jewell Woo Hoo - My new computer finally arrived last night. I get to set it up this morning. Whoo hoo! That is so exciting! When you have time I hope you'll tell us exactly what you got and how you like it. Hope all the setting up and so on goes smoothly for you and you are soon having loads of fun. Here are the specs of what I have. XPS 630 Intel Core2 Extreme processor E8300 (2.83GHz 1333FSB) w/Dual Core Technology and 6MB cache 4GB DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 500GB NCQ SATA Hard Drive (7200 RPM) w/ 16MB DataBurst Cache Microsoft Windows XP Pro 48X Combo and 16X DVD+/-RW 6 Channel,Dolby,PDVD,7.0 Hubby said to get whatever I wanted, but I did tone it down a tad because I am the one that handles the finances and I know what it will do to the budget. It is so nice to be back on a machine that knows the difference between run and crawl. I am having a blast. Until I went back to the old computer, I had not realized just how resource intensive this environment really is. I also still have my 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT card from my old machine and plan on putting it in here too.

Since misery loves company, I'm thinking the Rs should get together and leave the rest of us alone...

Just ignore this one and let it die: Now, on that subject. I have never used iggys on a forum before but have started putting people on mine that I want to be sure to never help by accident on here. I think we only get about 7 or so spaces. Does anyone know if it caps at that? Everyone on my list is worthy and I don't really want to remove one. So, anyone have a list that is long that can help? OK, I am very busy and working on some stuff. Sorry for my inactivity here. I will be back when I get caught up with my stuffs. /me Chases Maggie out the door in that sundress.

Yes, my first two actual ignores have been awarded to Mr and Mrs VinegarDouche as well. I urge those not ignoring them, to resist quoting them, whenever possible. Now, if you will excuse me, I am going out for a nice TBone Dinner with some friends, to a place where liters homemade of beer in frigid glasses are served.

I just had another, "omg, it's Ann Launay!" encounter in-world with a much nicer Rebecca...hopefully she'll stop in and post.

/me is watching Glastonbury online. To my infinite surprise, Jay-Z was not only good, he was brilliant. Talk about crowd involvement. Now watching the Raconteurs' set from earlier ( ) and they're rockin' the f*ck out.

I am also apparently Celery. Now that I'm all caught up, I'm glad CX was absolved, and I refuse to address the rest of the drama. Lil, isn't it nice to have a new machine? I've been getting mine set up and all my stuff migrated too. Went from 10-15 FPS to (usually) 40+. I'm liking it. Turned out my laptop had a hairball, which blocked the fan and burned out the motherboard. Not something I could have prevented...it collected between the heat sink and the fan, inside the case. Laptop is fixed and happy now, but it is no longer my primary SL computer.

From: Kaimi Kyomoon Is there a link to the video? I'd like to see it. Not yet, Kaimi, although someone will probably have videos up on YouTube within a few hours. Jay-Z was the headline act tonight, and he played a long set. I don't know that all of it will be put up on the BBC site.

From: Maureen Boccaccio Hiya 3Ring! How is the hubby doing today? had our prerequisite doc appt to do the insurance requirements needed to get a referral to a cardiologist. hatin' Saturday doc appts... he's ok. yesterday was a tough day with the oldest kid, and this morning before the doc appt we had some spill over... which is BAD and not what hubby needs. but, we've worked through it now. to be enigamatic, i'll say that my kid foiund out that if you are naughty, it doesn't matter if you're my arch enemy or my kin... i will hold you accountable by any means necessary. and don't call my bluff with a bluff. i never back down when i'm right. :/ tough past 2 days. but all better now. thank you for asking.

Spanking was good enough for us when we were kids, right? Translates 3's post to: I lowered the smackdown on his world. *Runs back out of thread to configure my router. I am setting up OpenSim and OpenLife.. trying to get one to let my wife's PC connect with my sim.. I have been at this all day and am about to nuke my island forever more. Funny.. I was on the OpenLife forums looking for a solution and our lady Amara seems to be poking around OpenLife too. See ya all later.. be good!
