From: Trout Recreant Thanks for all the well-wishes (and the flowers). Just taking a break from tying up loose ends. I'll start boxing stuff up this afternoon. The new job is with a colleague I have known for quite a while. I feel like I know what to expect, since he's a friend, and it should be a change from what I've dealt with over the past several years.
Phew! All this administrative crap I have to do to get moved over there is tedious! I'd be much happier if I could just yank my pictures off the wall, box up my stuff and disappear. Here's hoping it goes as smoothly as possible.

Moving is never fun, regardless of the circumstances. So happy that your new job will be better for your spirit.

From: FD Spark Yeah it's yummy looking cake I eat her haha My birthday is coming up soon been in bit of funk but feeling bit better today. I am wearing Hunter Stern's scarlet wings he makes really incredibly beautiful things, This was some freebies I had almost forgotten I had. It is based on my friend's hand drawn fractual and drawn design she shared with me Auroraskye that I share a shop with in Etopia Prime. I don't know though if we will continue being in same location soon though. This isn't for sell it just for fun. I like the color of the suit, very pretty, did you do the lining on it? (the outlines)

From: Trout Recreant My last employer counted the time I took off for my dad's funeral as a vacation. They actually asked me if I had had a nice break and told me they expected that I was all refreshed and ready to get some work done when I came back. Bunch of sociopaths. I had this happen many years ago when my brother passed away and I took some time off to go to his funeral and visit with family some people are just plain idiots

From: Zena Randt Happy Monday everyone. Happy Canada Day to all us Canadians out there!!
And on the note about thunder and rain....one of my neighbours has a cool cloud thingy (it's a technical term!) that follows you around her land and blasts you with rain and lightning. I love that thing! I've "trespassed" on her land just so that thing can chase me around. I'm gonna get me one of those. hehehehe
Z not Canada day for another day yet...Still only June 30th on my calendar... Canada Day is July 1st

From: Amy Stork I only read every second or third page that way I never have a clue whats going on. BTW for those who are interested, I solved my Whale problem by digging a whale pond I hope no ferns were harmed in the construction of this whale pond.

From: LittleMe Jewell I would bet that Mac or Maureen or Claire would be the highest possibilities in that. *raises hand* guilty as charged. Even the days when I think "I am going to just start where the last pages ends and forget the back stuff" I always end up reading it anyway. Hey everybody! I hope everyone is having a good Monday, at least as good as it can be for a Monday. Back to catching up..

Howdy folks!!
I have not read a ding-dang thing in this thread for I don't know how long, so I'm not making any comment on anything to anyone that is of any interest to those that have indeed read whatever's gone on in this thread prior, and could make any judgment calls on such comments.
Having said that...hi there!!
Just a fast update - pop's doing well, we have him home from the hospital (has been home since Thursday evening), and the doctor has removed some of the staples from the incision in his belly - he still has a small opening that allows them to examine inside, that penetrates the muscle layer, but I'm hoping they'll be able to allow that to close up soon.
Some day, I hope to have a normal nights sleep - I am up every half hour to an hour, every night, checking in on him...well, there have been a couple of 2 hours exceptions, but I wake from those worried that I've slept through something awful.
Sheesh...anxiety will just eat you alive, you know?
I'm hoping in another week or so, I may be able to go home and sleep in my own bed again...ahh...sweet, sweet dreams about sleep.... /snoooorrree...
Huh? Sorry. Anyway - hello, and I may be able to get back into the forums a bit - however, where I am has THE crappiest reception for my wireless broadband connection...it's a real blessing everywhere but here. I believe I likened it earlier to the stability of a drunken hedgehog in a balloon factory...
My best to all, and if anyone is willing to let me know if anyone else is in dire straights with family or other emergencies, I'd like to send my best wishes...
Catch all of you later!

Glad to hear your Dad is doing better, Joseph. Take care of yourself too, bro. It is easy to run ourselves down when we are caring for another but the best way to be there for someone is being there healthy.

Trout.. Wave goodbye to those bastiges with your middle finger and a slap on your butt for them to kiss it. And good luck setting in to the new workplace. I would have helped you move that desk in if you had asked.

I think someone stole my weed whacker. It was on my (enclosed) porch and now it's gone.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

I would have helped you move that desk in if you had asked. Have you got an engine lift? Maybe a tow truck and some dynamite? I should have known better than to buy the desk that was made out of lead, but the salesperson promised me that in the event of a nuclear catastrophe, everything under the desk would be properly shielded.

From: Rhaorth Antonelli I like the color of the suit, very pretty, did you do the lining on it? (the outlines) My friend did a hand drawn template for George what he was wearing in the SGT pepper lonely hearts band her textures were more fractal like and orange. I just recolored and added new colors and hand painted rose. It more for experience then anything trying to figure what colors i could reproduce i added bumpy looking grey was leather like texture too I did to make more textures and purple darker was painted over the grey layers that looked embossed . I have it soft blue and gray with bronze gradient lining. My friend didn't exactly like my version and suggested I try a unique thing next time but it was more to figure out where the collar, button lines and buttons, etc go. type of practice. The original design she did is on pick page Friends for FD where we all are wearing similar looking out fit in orange she did that one. She has been amazing teacher, very talented she does historical hand drawn clothing too. We sort team up together she can do artistic things I can't and vice versa.

I just hope you don't do the dramatic thing when you are mad and pound your fist on your desk. You may need an amputation if you do.
