My friend Johnny did take me out for a pin on his snow board thingy, though:  Young lady, I trust you had a proper safety helmet on under your hat and were wearing wrist guards while snowboarding! (Wiping out hard on a mountain is not fun .. trust me  )_____________________

G'mornin, thread! Well, my RL 'puter -- the one I use for SL -- goes in for service today. I was down all weekend, and I hope they'll be able to fix it soon. It's really makin me double grumbly 'cuz winter camp started this weekend! I was able to borrow a friend's puter for a bit (and have a couple piccies from Friday before it went down) to share! On Friday, I helped my friends Lorin Tone, Madcow Cosmos,and Judi Newall with a machinima. But I wasn't quite myself for that:  Also on Friday, it's Kid Scout cookie time! So I was out in front of my store sellin Kid Scout cookies far an wide. I'll be doin it s'more the rest of the month, I hope. Yes, they help keep the Kid Scouts events going all year round f'r SL kids. Come by an get some Kid Scout cookies   Camp is amazingly beautiful this year. Here's jes one view, of our cabins in the snow:  I've not been able to do much, cuz I'm ((the 'puter is)) sick:  My friend Johnny did take me out for a pin on his snow board thingy, though: An that's th' weekend. If your "Tex" hair is mod/copy, try making a "hat" version by editing it so that the parts that tend to stick out are either removed or shortened. If you've never done this before, be prepared for a kinda fun learning experience. Hint: because of the long curves needed, hair is often put together using prims that surprise you when you rotate them. Death to nomod scripted hair! (Btw, Josh, has Argrace started using removable hair scripts yet? I have two sets that I didn't realize were forever scripted - sent a message about it, but she/he just responded saying "thanks"  . Yes, my "Tex" hair is mod. I've been working on one cowboy hat/hair combo. Trying to modify the hair to work with the hat is most certainly learning experience, although fun would not be the first thing that came to mind when trying to describe it. _____________________

Camp is amazingly beautiful this year. Here's jes one view, of our cabins in the snow: It wouldn't be a proper Monday without your weekend update. Also, someone did an awesome job of adding the snow to the cabin roofs. It looks very realistic. Well, I'm assuming it's realistic, we don't get that kind of snow around here. _____________________

Oh thanks Soji .. never even noticed lol. Btw, hope you get your car back soon! Thank-you It is still sitting outside my house, though. They will not collect it to examine it until Thursday. And then it will get shipped off to get rebuilt. So, 2 weeks to 2 months from now, I get car back. Or 2 years. _____________________

I cannot get my cowgirl hats to fit my big head. I'd have to stretch them out to ungodly proportions to keep my hair from coming through. I have a couple of them in inventory but can't get them to fit. Tip: wear a hat that is close to your hair colour _____________________

lol, I used to do that from my sky platform, and still do it occasionally in my favorite sandbox. I try to aim for a spot right next to someone on the ground, just for the fun surprise element. Rez a sphere. Sit on it. Now go back into Edit. Change the Z setting for Position to around 4000. Leave edit. Go into Mouselook as you fall. See how many sims you bounce across. It helps if there are skyboxes and other things to bounce off of on the way down. _____________________
