From: Brenda Connolly There is a replica of that at the China Pavilion at Epcot. It really is beautiful to see. Well by this time tomorrow, we will know whether the Jets will be flying high: Or will have crashed and burned: If it is the latter, can someone make me an avatar like this? Just in case, I think I have a bag over the head prim thingie. I'll look tomorrow.

From: LittleMe Jewell I love the long flowing gowns there, but I seldom ever buy them because of the price. Bad thing about this sale is that about 1/2 the "one color in each dress" is a color I hate. That is probably a good thing cuz it helps save my budget. What's the color?

From: Seven Okelli Yes! When we were walking around, I knew I had to stay there. I think this is what Marianne wrote about. In SL you can really find a place that you want to belong. exactly.

From: LittleMe Jewell I am not a big pie person, but I'm making an exception here. *darts in and grabs the whole pie and runs off with it. Hey!! *makes a mad dash after Lil to retrieve at least a portion of the pie*

From: Lula Svoboda I would love to photograph someone other than me. I have a photosphere and some static pose balls if needed. I take pics to my hard-drive and then photoshop out some of the awkward mesh glitches and color correct. It is my hobby but I must admit it might take a little time (or not depending...)
Send me a PM or catch me inworld. It would be so much fun for me so I thank anyone willing to give me there time.
Love, Lula If you let me know what times you are online, I would be willing to help you out.

From: Claire Silverspar If you let me know what times you are online, I would be willing to help you out. Yay! That would be so much fun for me. I am really bored with just taking pics of myself. Thank you so much! I will let your know when I am online. I am pretty busy in RL up until Feb 12 so after that I can be really flexible. Thank you Claire!

It's like a friend of mine who has land that's part way on a hillside near the SLRR. There's far easier plots out there to build on -- but that's her place. She's made a lot of walkways and landings, and really made it a nice spot. For her, it's home. In RL, she's had a hard few months, with a major move cross country in the midst of this job crunch. She lots the apartment she moved into shortly after her move, and is sharing space with some friends. In RL she has less of a sense of "place" than in SL right now.

I had fun at teh hangout tonight! Soji was changing avs every couple of minutes - he changes more often than me! lol. Always looking fab of course. Bran was looking gorgeous as always, building stuff for the expo I think, Maureen (also looking great) decided to be barmaid for a while. spike showed up in a skirt and Damien and Hera were dancing away looking fab too. I got a few good piccies, including one of Soji either laughing or about to drink. Can't remember which. They're all on the flickr pool, but I wanted to post a couple here.

From: Kaimi Kyomoon I get my news from the BBC, on line and on tv. From Newsweek, The Week, Jon Stewart and occasionally network news and the Onion. Oh yeah and NPR when I'm driving. I do catch the BBC from time to time, they definitely are top shelf. I listen to NPR for 3 specific shows. "Car Talk", "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me", and "Prairie Home Companion". I cannot listen to "All Things Considered" while operating a motor vehicle. Doing so would cause me to fall asleep and crash.

From: Maureen Boccaccio Just in case, I think I have a bag over the head prim thingie. I'll look tomorrow. Well, I've done all I can in preparation. The Jets training camp is in Madison, NJ which is about a half hour from where I live. One of the local establishments had a Pep Rally tonight, from which I have just returned. I've made my sacrifices to the pigskin Gods, and leave it to the fates.

I'm just so happy to hear intelligent people speaking calmly that I like it all. The Tappit brothers are great aren't they? And Garrison Keillor. I happened to catch Brian Williams on "Wait,Wait" a couple of months ago. Between that and his appearances on The Daily Show... he can be pretty funny. (He knew almost all the current event answers.)

Isn't it amazing with Brian Williams. I can't watch him for 30 seconds on the news. But he was a riot on "Wait, Wait". I was driving home form Florida when I heard that show and I actually listened to it twice more, it was so funny.
