I almost bought a new computer yesterday. I was in a warehouse store and saw a really nice eMachine. My first home computer was an eMachine and I had a good experience with it. The only drawback was it had onboard graphics. They also had an HP all in one that I really liked, but same thing, the graphics aren't suited for any type of gaming I guess.

Amazingly, it went perfectly with my shape. What I found interesting was that the skin in the other tones of the same skin did NOT look good on my shape.

Why? Because it was free, of course... also because the source files for those skins are made open by the creator, and I thought I might want to play with them someday.

Oh heck, yeah! That was what the exhibit was all about - the terra cotta warriors. The artisans made approximately 6000 warriors!! The exhibit had but a few - 15 or 16.

Since the roof of the tomb was made of grass and wood, it all collapsed over time...so many of the warriors were in pieces. I understand it takes about one year to put the pieces back together.
If all goes well, I will be moving to China in a few weeks. Xi'an is one of the things I hope I will have the chance to see while I'm there.

You can't go wrong with the standards. And you never do. :) I have a ton of formals, but never wear them. Maybe I can hook up with Lula and try them out.

I can only imagine what it would be like to see the tomb area with one's own eyes.

oooh, and the people!! and the Great Wall! and the Forbidden City! ooooh, and...and...countless other wonders. :)

Ahhh. I thought you meant that the dresses on sale were all one color...say...brown...and that's why you could avoid the sale. :D
No - the sale color is not the same on all of them, but, luckily for my L$ balance, the majority are either a style I did not like or a color I did not like.

I really should spend some time going thru my freebie skin folder. I've been wanting to change for a while, but I hate trying on skins cuz they seem to take forever to rez when you first put them on.

Not photoshopped. I just turned everything up to the max and I played with the sky and water settings. It helps that my screen is mahoosive! I did photoshop the glowy a bit brighter though - I like glow. :p
It was in an empty Region, noone else around for miles, and it was at such a wierd time that I had maximum bandwidth. It helped a lot. I doubt my puter would be able to cope with it anymore.

Sometimes you can get it cheaper by buying one of these and then upgrading the graphics card. You do have to ensure that the rest of the innerds (power supply and cooling) can support the newer card though.

yes, that's it! i had forgotten about the horses. so very cool. i bet you were completely mesmerized. i can only imagine the feelings that wash over you while you are standing there staring at it... the history. the magnitude of it all.
