Mine left two weeks ago, she had to be earlier because she works on campus. Isn't it nice when they depart the nest? I love it!

I remember thinking about how wonderful all the free time we would have would be once the kids were out on their own. Now that they are actually gone it seems I have less free time than I ever did before.

I still haven't figure out what the heck happened.

Well she had been living about 100 miles away from me with my ex. Once she moves into her dorm she will be about 30 miles away... so I'm excited about being able to take her out to lunch or dinner without having to drive 90 minutes each way.

So.... interesting development. My boss just called me and said he wants to meet me for lunch... outside of the office. This is highly unusual. I suspect they are going to lay me off and close my office. They might reasign me somewhere else. I guess I'll find out at 12:30.

If that's what you think, and if you have any personal stuff on your computer that you don't want to lose (like maybe passwords in your web browser or pictures or music), you might want to back it up to a USB fob or write it to a DVD or something before the meeting.

And good luck! Hope it all goes well.

And hurry up, before that guy from Security shows up with the cardboard box for your stuff :p

Chin up, Eli, maybe it will be something good, like a promotion. :)

I just hope they don't want me to make a lateral move with more work and less pay.
Or... maybe I am completely guessing wrong and he just wants to let me know that the IT department told him how much time I am spending on forums.secondlife.com :p

Hey, I am almost ready with my blog, but there is one little detail if you don't mind helping me.

I need a fake name for my younger sister. I was going to call her Six, but now I'm not sure. She might be better off with a cuter name like Lia or Rufina. Of course, it has to be name no one in SL is actually using.

What do you think? Is Six okay?

Eep! Good luck Eli. I'll be hoping it is something good for you.

I am off to see my little one's new school. He is going into kindergarten in a couple of weeks.:( Pretty soon he will be in high school and hate me just like the other one. Sigh.

I like Six-and-three-quarters.
Well.. Maybe too long.
Don't call her Rufina. It sounds too much like ruffies. And just ask Brenda how much trouble those can get you into...

Thanks - I just needed to hear someone say that.

Sorry, Three - it *would* work, but I guess I'm used to calling her Six now.

I'm really going to start on Monday, but I put up a preview so you can see what my blog looks like:

Looks awesom Seven. I can't wait to hear about Jamaica. Remember what we talked about before you left? I keep wondering if she did. :p

My vanity is slipping!

I wore this top with a skirt no long ago. Last night I wore it with pants and boots (not seen). This is Clover and I at one of Max Kleene's shows.
