Strangest thing? I don't think I've eaten anything particularly strange, but other people have thought so -- particularly my mother, who files all this under the category "worse than a boy":

- horse, buffalo, boar, rabbit, and deer meat
- cow brains, bone marrow, tongue, pancreas, tripe
- goat milk, goat curry, and a taco made with meat from the goat's head
- duck and goose eggs
- raw ground veal
- raw tuna steaks
- raw eggs
- raw potato (yuck!)
- golden seal powder and brewer's yeast
- risotto and pasta with squid ink
- gefilte fish with horseradish
- banana beer
- rye beer
- eel
- ostrich burgers (several times)

My first boyfriend was Jewish. His family introduced me to gefilte fish.

i needz help.

i was using my computer, and 5 minutes later i decided to move it down to another room. i was very careful. everything is all hooked up, i boot up and now my moniter only offers a black screen. it's the computer, not the moniter, because it does the same thing with other moniters.

if i unplug the moniter from the computer, it comes on and tells me i need ot make a connection. if i connect it, the screen turns off and the light goes from blue to orange.

anyone know anything about this sort of thing?

Could it be an issues with your monitor drivers? Maybe check to see if they are up to date.

You can smell kimchi even driving past, on the freeway, a place that's making it. My ex husband took a liking to it, when he was in the military, in Viet Nam. When he returned, he'd seek it out, here; I didn't mind a little of it, but it has an under smell and under taste that bothers me.........I haven't had it since we divorced nearly 15 years ago, lol

I don't go near all that exotic stuff..monkey brains, ocelot spleens and such. My food preferences are very pedestrian. I do like raw oysters and clams, I've had alligator and when I spent my summer in Texas I went to a chili festival and had rattlesnake chili, and a friend makes an awesome venison chili that I love. The thing I like that makes a lot of people go ewwwww, is Steak Tartare. I love it.

what is steak tartare?

It's basically raw ground beef, with a variety of seasonings.

There is a silly mistake I have made before that did this. Be sure the monitor is connected to the expansion card and not the video port on the motherboard.

If you get your meat from a trusted source, it should be fine.

Finely chopped raw beef. It's good.

Just for the record...as someone who has worked in the Education field...I saw nothing wrong with Tex's post. There are a lot of troubles in the field, and a lot are caused from it's members themselves.
