Yes, by the fire pit area. Strange how the fire pit area was the main meeting point at the time. I think people even causally mentioned sadness over the building not being used. Now, of course, hardly anyone uses the firepit area.

He is on plurk. And I saw him several times since. But I do not think I've seen him with my own pixel eyes in world this year.

What apartment?

I made the top floor of a building. Put a bunch of old, mish mash furniture and boxes with pillows on the roof. Then surrounded the whole thing with megaprim screens with a cityscape texture. It was like the top of an urban apartment building. All this was set 600 meters up in the air.

Oh that....I had to look really hard to notice... :o

Now I know why you asked if I was afraid of heights.

Oh, OK. Yes, I have partical based clouds already. I called the cloud poofers in the original question. What I need are some good textures for the prim parts at a minimum or some nice, sculpted mega prims with animated could textures would be ideal. I just can not seem to find anything that looks halfway right.

Doh! I should have read your OP a little better :P

If you were afraid of heights that was where I would have kept you hostage.
errr,
I mean I wanted to be sure you were not in case you wanted to come see my house. Yeah, we'll go with that.

Just to explain why I've been so quiet:

omg - my first day back at work was pretty wild. I've been busy all day until now, except for a few moments here and there. I started reading Brenda's blog. I see that Pep has one too, but I haven't gotten there yet. Did anyone else start one in the past two weeks? Or have one that's not in your signature?

I still haven't caught up on this thread, all the days I missed.

I did get to scribble some stuff about my trip for my blog. I'm aiming to start on Monday. I gathered all my notes and put them in order.

It's actually nice to be back at work. I was so curious to see how things are going here.

I *did* take care to put the sarcasm emoticon in.

Pep (But most of you seem to have missed the point anyway. )

I took the sarcasm smiley the wrong way I guess. It could have went either way. Personally if I was an administrator making lots of money for doing nothing, why would I feel bad at all?:p So I took it you meant she was a teacher.

Hmm now that I read it again,I see what you meant. I need to study my sarcasm smileys I guess.

For what it's worth I grabbed the quote I posted quickly without putting a great deal of thought into. My wife was at one point both a teacher and an administrator. The fact that teachers have always been underpaid for the work they do is hardly a new revelation. If someone somehow takes that as a slam against teachers well that's their business. If there any administrators out there I apologize if they were offended by the quote.

None of our "public service" people get paid well enough.(Fire, police etc...) But any idiot who can catch a ball, act or sing well makes more money they can spend in a lifetime. Go figure.

I have nothing to say. Testing signature. I do not actually recall when I started it, March? Never got around to putting it into the signature.

I recall that there is some way to make it clickable. I believe it involves the image tag, but when I do that, I see nothing.

Once I got started setting up house, it sort of changed a couple of times and I finally went with a steampunk airship.

I think, like, color is like a gift of the universe, you know? And if you have a mirage you should draw it on the wall for all to share and not hide it in a bag if that's your bag, man.

Sorry - was having a flashback or something. Great pictures!
