if anyone is color challenged, I really recommend playing around with the windlight settings. They have completely changed the visual quality of 2L for me (hopefully I'm not green and if I am I'll just continue to enjoy my ignorance).
![]() No idea the dominant colors in this one but it looks very vibrant to me ![]() It is a bit muddy, but here is Pep's new dress. He seems to enjoy dressing up ![]() ![]() _____________________

Pretty much. One more for my ignore list. Apparently my friendship with you has turned me into an enemy or something overnight. Cause I can't imagine what else I did to him. ![]() I have no idea if it's the case here, but it is human nature to judge people by the quality of the friends they keep. Perhaps an unfair thing to do, but not completely suprising when it happens. _____________________

Well, since Eli probably knows me better than most of the people on this thread. It is a surprise and it is hurtful. I have never judged anyone by their choice in friends. And if he wants to judge me on that, then I am probably better off without him as a friend because it is childish. _____________________

Was your conclusion that the capitalist system, which determines price at the point where supply meets demand, was radically flawed and a socialist/communist regime should be established instead? ![]() Pep (It's a question of what value the market puts on commodities; the ability to kick a field goal from 50 yards is obviously more important than the ability to obtain grants to pay teachers' salaries or to read a text book one week ahead of a class so as to repeat its contents. ![]() _____________________

i needz help. i was using my computer, and 5 minutes later i decided to move it down to another room. i was very careful. everything is all hooked up, i boot up and now my moniter only offers a black screen. it's the computer, not the moniter, because it does the same thing with other moniters. if i unplug the moniter from the computer, it comes on and tells me i need ot make a connection. if i connect it, the screen turns off and the light goes from blue to orange. anyone know anything about this sort of thing? _____________________

And the ability to design a clever package that deludes stupid consumers into buying something they don't need is worth way more than the reluctance to pay to keep hospitals clean. Pep (and McCarthy's coming for ya!) _____________________

Ewwww, I'm always afraid I'll get sick from that. ![]() Some of the less usual things I remember eating before I was a vegetarian: menudo calamari oysters - raw, cooked, and smoked escargot beef tongue (tasty) haggis (very tasty) shark fin frog's legs abalone (used to be common and delicious) I'm not a vegan and I still eat goats' milk cheese. _____________________

I ate frogs-legs once with crocodile steaks to follow, but the service was poor.

That's how I feel about any meat. Some of the less usual things I remember eating before I was a vegetarian: menudo calamari oysters - raw, cooked, and smoked escargot beef tongue (tasty) haggis (very tasty) shark fin frog's legs abalone (used to be common and delicious) I'm not a vegan and I still eat goats' milk cheese. Gee I like everything on your list there, except for menudo (only because it's got tripe). I even like haggis. Oh, I lied, I haven't had shark fin. How interesting. Not very meaty, that? |

No doubt you are happy to have Rioko as your friend. She's better than you in every way - perhaps one day something noble might rub off on you. Something about this, bothers me......(oh yes I'm sure this will bring a rain of vitriol and declarations of idiocy on my head, but y'know....is ok.) What's bothering me is, if *I* am your so-called friend, and consider myself so; yet you have stated that another's behavior is hurtful to you; and that behavior was caused by things that *I* did....then why don't *I* care about the fact that you are hurt, and that my behavior had something to do with it? What kind of friend am I, that I don't care that you have stated you are hurt, am even gleeful about the situation? I hope that if something I did ever hurt someone I call friend, that I'd be able to look at myself, not to say, oh it's 'your' problem, not mine, if you allow yourself to be hurt, but instead to say hmmm, I care about 'this one' so maybe I will back off of 'that one' since the results hurt my friend. I hope I would do that, anyway, in the interest of friendship. |
