Hey folks. Feeling a little green around the gills...went to eat out and some over excited kid decided to throw up next to me, effectivly trapping me in a corner while it was cleaned up.

Just came from a reception for new students, where this featured prominently:




dark chocolate AND white chocolate fountains. Mounds of fruit and other goodies to dip into the fountains.

I made a point of staying on the other side of the room. :p

Oh poor Claire. I was on a business trip with a colleague and we didn't happen to get seats together, but as we were strapped in for landing she kept on looking back at me with this freaked out look on her face. Turns out her seat mate vomited on her.

Something about this, bothers me......(oh yes I'm sure this will bring a rain of vitriol and declarations of idiocy on my head, but y'know....is ok.) What's bothering me is, if *I* am your so-called friend, and consider myself so; yet you have stated that another's behavior is hurtful to you; and that behavior was caused by things that *I* did....then why don't *I* care about the fact that you are hurt, and that my behavior had something to do with it? What kind of friend am I, that I don't care that you have stated you are hurt, am even gleeful about the situation? I hope that if something I did ever hurt someone I call friend, that I'd be able to look at myself, not to say, oh it's 'your' problem, not mine, if you allow yourself to be hurt, but instead to say hmmm, I care about 'this one' so maybe I will back off of 'that one' since the results hurt my friend. I hope I would do that, anyway, in the interest of friendship.


I realized that when I wrote this post, I put a post of Love's as a Quote. This convoluted post had nothing to do with Love and Rio was right, I was referring to her, and Pep, and Eli. And according to Rio, I was incorrect anyway. But never did it have anything to do with Love, at all, who I think is beautiful and wonderful and articulate. I was feeling bad for Rio, and referred to that, under a post Love wrote. Please excuse any confusion, it was a messy post to begin with. :o
