Yes - but the constitution only requires a head count so that the number of representatives can be determined. All the other crap is just stuff they have added in the last few census counts.

that's not what they were telling me while we argued. i actually answered the door with my 9mm one time... which is why the sheriff arrived. :o

i never got in trouble for that before, when the jehovah witness missionaries used to come around, so i didn't know i'd get in trouble for that... :p needless to say, i don't do that anymore.

Yeah, in reading about it just now, the actual constitution phrase is

"[An] Enumeration shall be made within three Years after the first Meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent Term of ten Years, in such Manner as they shall by Law direct."

It is that last piece "in a manner as they shall by law direct" that is causing the problems. The Census Bureau needs the data to comply with Congressional laws, but there are now arguments and a few lawsuits over whether the data for Congress must be collected on the census form or if it can be done thru other random polling, etc....

Yes it does and I love it. The best thing about it is when I cannot find a mega prim at just the right thickness. If 1.23 is giving you trouble, try Snowglobe -- it has the slice function also.

Hmm- wonder if emerald has equivalent...?

Isn't it great when you can have the windows open? I love my air conditioner, and could not imagine living without it (comfortably), but boy, I sure miss the fresh air blowing in the window. :)

Long time ago- in another life - I lived in a tiny apartment over a lake. When winter ca,e and i could have the windows open, a chilling breeze wd sweep thru the whole place- the wind would make the eeriest sound- I loved it. If it weren't for the ex- husband, the place would have been perfect ;).

Cool- I didn't recall what it was caled- but es i have used in Kirstens extensively. The new Emerald is annoying me with certain grafix issues. According to their forum the old clear cache is the answer but argh i hate clear cache! :mad:

The forum at greenlife supplied the answer to my camera problem. The problem was inherited from the official 1.23 viewer. So taking a picture using "ctrl`" frames the picture differently from using the "take snapshot" function in the file menu. I downloaded the 1.23 viewer to test it out and the bug is there also. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon.

Oh, congrats Damien... she must be special to put up with you for a whole year. :p

Just stopping by, saying hi! Been a busy week, getting used to the new job on a fulltime basis - three more days and "she" is out of there. Wednesday they are throwing a goodbye/hello party for her and I, a nice gesture and will be interesting watching the entire staff get smashed :p

Ghosty and I are doing great. I've been modeling for him for days now; he's been creating jewelry and I'm the face behind the ads thus far (not sure if you can really see me or not yet, since they are earrings and he obviously needs to focus on *them* not me).

Anyway, I grabbed this shot as we were wrapping up today. Has nothing to do with the baubbles, just a nice picture of us with our new skins :)



Hopefully, will check in more frequently as the job settles down.
