Ok, fashion help needed. I bought the Amelia costume, thanks Lil. Now I need some boots for it. Nothing I have is quite right. Something lw heeled, calf length, brown suede would do. Suggestions?

From: Maureen Boccaccio What a perfect summertime pic. I'm glad you're having a fun time at camp, Mari. I am! Shame to see it end on Sunday. Then it's back to real life, or Second Life, or, um, well, you know. From: Weston Graves Sweet! I hope you let 'em go though. Those monarchs are so pretty and a sign that fall is on its way. They have to go thousands of miles to South America to follow summer as it moves there. Oh wait -- that's in real life. Never mind. real life or no, I don't think I'd wanna keep a buckerfly inna jar or something. They're meant to flutter free. From: Rioko Bamaisin Morning threadies. Cute pics as usual Mari Thankoo From: Brenda Connolly @Mari: You really make one want to think about becoming a kid again, if only for a little while. From: Malia Writer Nice pics today everyone. I agree, Mari's pics make me wanna be a kid too, I've got my child avi almost done. Oh no! My secret agenda revealed! In all seriousness, it can be quite a bit of fun, especially at things like Camp HardKnock, etc. It's not for everyone, though, and it does have it's challenges. Like probably any "role," I guess. if you need a hand with anything, Malia, lemme know. I can point you to some of the better kid stores and stuff.

Heya folks! /me shares her special cinnamon and chocolate coffee with whoever wants some. I watch the first episode of True Blood last night. We finally got it over here, and I've been dying to see it ever since I heard they were making it. After reading the books, I'm really not sure whather I just like it or whether I love it. I knew they'd have to change some stuff to adapt it to TV, but some of the stuff they changed was what I loved about the books. I know I'll keep watching it anyway, even separate from the books I think its a good show. Brenda, try Enkythings. Dont think they are scultpy, but I love the Cupo boots, I have a pair of white ones, and the brown might work for you. (350L normally, but they on 50% off atm so only 175L) I'll drop a LM on you in case you want to check it out ETA: the Pinson boots might work too...depends on the style you want

These are the ones I wear for exploring. The pics in the ad are awful, but the boots look cute in world. Besides, they are practically free. https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=457027

From: Malia Writer You are my new best friend. Yey! I have a new friend!! I have hazelnut too. I have a thing for flavoured coffees, though only when its proper ground coffee, not instant. Flavoured instant coffee tastes naff.

I went to the Nationals game last night. Somewhat needless to say, they lost. Cubs won 3-1 (or Nationals lost 1-3). I happened to take a few 100 pictures. Here Nick Johnson is about to ground out. Skies were cloudy and threatened thunderstorms

Great pictures, although I really don't understand football. I think the frozen action is amazing and the storm clouds are cool.

From: Claire Silverspar Ok, quick question to peoples who use flickr. How the hell do I mark piccies as mature? Click on the picture to pull it up by itself - lower right it says "flag your photo" - click that and click 'moderate' or 'restricted' and also check 'hide from public search' if you want.
