You are too good to me. I'll be hungry for this in a few hours. It also reminds me of our rl lunch together. That was SO-o-o-o great.

It was. I had such a great time with you, and the food was delicious. :)

I was hoping to get out to San Diego this summer - but it looks like it will be later this fall. We'll have to repeat the experience!!! :)

I wandered around the NYC sim with the 9-11 Memorial a bit more today.

The landing point is at the base of the Statue of Liberty:

New York is a great walking city, but I decided to hop into a cab. I had a very nice driver, although he was a bit wierd. I think his name was Ignatowski:

First stop was the New York Public Library:

Inside are a bunch of SL "How To" dispays

I love this group of pics. I've been meaning to wander around that sim, too!

Visiting with my friend this weekend. As I said, it turns out he has an SL account, but is very much the newbie. So we friended each other. First thing I did was get him to put on a bald cap - he had both prim and avatar hair. Then got him an AO.

Found one of Skell's old posts to get a list of freebie blogs for men. Brought him to some clothes stores, but he quickly got bored.

Brought his avatar to Oxbridge and showed him around. He still hasn't figured out how to fly and how to teleport. AND he has a Mac - one of the first things in Oxbridge is a note for Mac users. He was very happy with the place.

Showed him my house on Watchman and the one Moth is building.

At the moment I'm pretty tired because we spent all yesterday in real life chasing down different things he wanted to see.

Glad you had fun RL and SL with your friend. :)

@ Mo- clothes are odds and end from BlackOpal as are the wings- not sure i said before.

If any one is into kilts- the store at that location, Bird Of Prey, has a nice freebie kilt in a tradiotinal tartan as a group gift.
Speaking of kilts- any pointers to gothy looking ones wd be appreciated- I have a couple, one with skulls another by a good friend called Death Kilt - his place is calle Perffeto Morte and is very cool if u r into morbid, dark, kind of stuff- he and his girl just did this Bone Warrior thing that is just way freaky- that was the place i had posted some artsy stuff of about a week or two ago-

The 2 outfits I bought yesterday were from "Angel D-Signs". I didn't look through the entire store as I had already found the items on xstreet and knew what I was looking for. They may have something along those lines.

I have watched the pilot a few times- Can't help it- they keep playing it- anyhoo- was looking at it now and just noticed the totally cool old/new keyboard :) It looks like an old time type writer with wood and maybe ivory inserts but runs his computer- so neat- just thought i wd mention :)

Ripped, or EMO-tions are both good for that. You might also try AVid, as Darwin has a fabulous kilt outfit mixing traditional tartan with a lot of gothic leather.
