This is a comprehensive, albeit long, article by Gwyneth Llewelyn about The Anatomy of Lag where she talks about some common lag myths you often hear about and the history of how they have been perpetuated. Well worth the read along with some nice building tips to mitigate the grey goo we often encounter.

Whoa- Joshooah- did you read the writer's post regarding 'silly' superstitions? Not even slightly tinged with religion over here but somewhat annoyed on behalf of people with any belief system being told they are suffering from delusions in so public a manner - The writer needs a little sensitivity training! Yes, I am still reading- but that one part just jumped up like - oh wow lady- you know how many people just stopped reading this right now???

I did actually and I was bit surprised at the analogy she used. She does go further somewhat in the last "The Conclusion?" section where she kinda clarifies the analogy with some personal family anecdotes. Personally I would have chosen some different examples and better wording to illustrate her points about the history and mythology around lag issues.

I am pleased to announce the long awaited birth of our(Iz and mine's) prim child. We have named him after Chris, the godfather.

I thought some of those dances between you and Iz lately were just a tad too close.

How does Eli feel about this?

Ok, so my busy afternoon didn't go quite as planned. Roadworks in town meant that traffic was awful and I missed my docs appointment which means I have to sit through 3 hours of open surgery on Wednesday morning which is my own personal version of hell on earth.
Despite that though, I've had a pretty good evening so far. My brother came around to visit and I made tea which everyone seemed to enjoy. Also, I discovered I like Bob Dylan.

Now I'm gonna head online and see if I can get back into the swing of using SL. I seem to have forgotten how to use it after my break from it, and I want to get back exploring n stuff. :o

So, that thread kind of died, does Bare Rose make shapes and skins? Thought they only made clothing. Seen skin on their island, but in adjacent builds, which I thought were renters, not Bare Rose itself.

I'd forgotten about Sonic. There are some out on Route 1 near me, but I never drive on Route 1, so I never see them.

That is the only Sonic I know.
