Pep (Beer is better than coffee for breakfast after a party.)

That breakfast picture might prompt Porky to post the fat man picture that caused all the outrage in the past!!! And it would be relevant this time!

And what are those 3 yellow cubes on the left? Are they something eggy or lumps of fried cheese or something? I've never seen anything like them in all my years!

My guess is some sort of cornbread. I could be wrong though.

ETA-I think I am having a heart attack just from looking at that plate.

No explanations on the original website other than that as it was devoured with enthusiasm by a bunch of geeks at the cabane a sucre, which is the Canadian maple syrup equivalent of the Beaujolais Nouveau race, as far as I can tell.

Pep (My bet is that those things are "biscuits" but I am concerned at the stringy meaty looking bits on the near edge of the plate - oreilles de crisse perhaps?)

PS Perhaps an informed Canuck could enlighten us?

@ Mari - wow! In spite of all SL's problems this weekend, you still packed a lot in. :) Jerboa and I poked around Zindra on horseback as right now most of the place is wide open!

This pic of yours:

looks like the same building we were looking at...from the other direction.I was fascinated with it!

Glad we made it thru another weekend. Great part though I only made cameos. The place looked fantastic and the tunes were awesome (Brenda, 3 is a great groper isn't she ;) ) I'm sorry I actually forgot to take ix while i was there.

Well - here is to surviving Monday :)

(Malia thanks for the picture- you look marvelously patriotic!)

I went back to sleep and had a dream I owned like 500 huge gerbils....they ended up taking over my house and kicking me out. Strangest dream ever...

Good point Brenda. Coors light is more like sewer water.

Good Morning!

I am very chipper since the refrigerator repair man showed up 8am, not on the end of the time window (noon). Makes my day much less complicated.

Wonderful party last night, great DJ's, stunning outfits one and all (once they rezzed :p ). Thanks to the planners for the room makeover, another great job of transformation. It was particularly nice to see some people in person that I had not seen in a long time. Alas, the only pictures I was able to capture were some group shots since the lag was tremendous on my end (let alone a couple of crashes). I haven't even looked at them yet, if they are "ok" I'll post them later.

Hello, threadians.

I didn't make it to the party... nutthin to wear!

No, really, I had a busy busy (busy) weekend, RL parties (plural!), father's day (not as tearful as expected - saw my grandparents). When I *did* get to SL, I was BUILDING.

I've really fallen in love with making things. It used to seem horrendously complicated, but now I get it. I make calculations, create the pieces, fill in the position and size numbers, and the piece snaps into place! (And then somehow needs many many adjustments.)

I am scarfing down a breakfast burrito as we speak - minus the tortilla, to avoid carbs. Nice salsa - piccante!

Mari - loved the bridge and UP! photos - I saw that movie. Didn't expect to be moved, but I was. Cried near the beginning, it was so unexpected.

but oh, I am working on my THIRD skybox. The first one was awful. The second one, after much work turned out to be massively too big to go over my house. (it didn't occur to me to see how big the lot is.) I already remade this third one from scratch three times. I will finish it and then make something ***smaller*** and prettier. My builder friend is going to come over some morning to show me some tricks, which I am really looking forward to.

.

I'm sure everyone got some fantastic pictures of the party. Mine didn't turn out great. I forgot to change the WindLight settings and it was getting dark!

Here are a few that sort of turned out, starting with a vanity pic of me in human form. It was a formal soiree, but I forgot to shave. That's Lexxi improving the look of the bar in the background. One snapshot sound and she was outta there.
picture 1

I think this is LittleMe and (DancesWithRobots?). Ghosty is in his top hat in the background.

Okay, help me out here. Is this Lindal Kidd making a grand entrance in a jaw dropping dress?
(picture 3)

(picture 4)
Litta Nightfire and Cee Edman. Another amazing outfit. That's a disembodied robotic arm in the distance. My draw distance was turned way down.

I tried to include everyone, but many did not turn out. I was having some real life issues. I'm sure others will post some good pictures.

2nd picture: Ghosty, Rika, Eli, Rioko, LittleMe, Danceswithrobots, Weston

3rd picture with Lindal - yes, that's Lindal.

fourth picture: you can see a piece of the robot from there with draw distance down? Odd. heh. I can be down on the dock and not see evidence of the robot, and my draw distance isn't that low. I thought.

Hey gorgeous... who made that hair???

My picture on Flickr says "Arianna Mocha Midnight", but I think Arianna is the name of the hair, not hair store. hmm. I do not recall. :(

I'm in the mood for a picnic - I need a lazy day instead of the hectic afternoon I have planned. So my wishful picnic brunch....

/me raises an eyebrow.
Aren't you the same person that reported last week that you were visited by the cable guy? You seem to get a lot of visits from service dudes... and they always seem to... um... come early. :p

Hey folks! had a great time last night - even though Carter stuffed me in my cage and took over the DJing duties for herself :P Anyway thanks for a great time. I'm enjoying everyone's pictures and can't wait to see more of them go up on the flickr group. Am already giggling at this one Nika/Litta put up:

Stormy and her two handsome backup dancers, Carter and Garrett. *grin*
