Since you all bitched about not having heart-starters yesterday here's what the Italians begin their day with - a triple espresso macchiato.
 Some brioche all crema  and then of course a leisurely capuccino since it's Saturday.  Pep (Suggestion for the kitten - Nesmith, since he's often likely to be "flying down to Rio"  _____________________

Elora and I are going to get the back deck in shape today, methinks. Time to buy some bulbs, and perhaps some cleaning supplies. Must make room for the new grill!  _____________________

I don't know about anyone else but that breakfast looks fantastic to me. BTW, the shell shaped pastry on the far left is a Sfogliatelle, I recognize it all to well. My ex is from an Italian family that is deeply connected to their Sicilian roots (which they joke, isn't even part of Italy).
I've pretty much earned a degree in Italian cooking watching/helping his family through the years, let alone the recipes passed down to me _____________________
