McD's has put out a new line of coffee recently, and it's actually pretty good, not as good as White Castle, which has fabulous coffee, but not bad either.

I heard good things about their new coffee, haven't tried it yet though. That old stuff was just nasty . You would think they would be half ass capable of making a good cup of coffee. Even with a million sugars in it,that stuff was just undrinkable.

I've never tried White Castle's coffee. Is it as good as Dunkin' Donuts?

No coffee in the world is as good as Dunkin' Donuts. That stuff is like the crack of coffee.

Moving a sim
03-22-2009 18:41
Can anyone tell me, without me digging through tons of stuff to get an answer, what it costs to move a sim? And, does it make a difference, if it is a homestead sim? Thanks in advance.......

Considerng moving a Homestead sim to be closer to one of our regular sims. I figured I could get a faster answer here than anywhere else.....

cut and paste job from the knowledge base:
Can I move my Private Region?

Yes. We won't be able to move your Private Regionto a specific location; however, we do offer Private Region moves in order to attach your Private Region to another Private Region you own, or someone else's Private Region.

To move your Private Region in order to attach it to another, both you and the other Private Region owner must submit a support ticket confirming that you wish for your Estates to be attached, and which sides (i.e. "I want my Private Region attached to the west side of Torley's Island.";). Note that your Private Region cannot be rotated, so what is currently north will always be north.

There is a $150 charge to move a Private Region. This fee is charged per Private Region, for any movement.

Note: Moving your Private Region will cause links made from the Picks tab of the Profile window to break.

Landmarks will continue to function after a move, but home locations may need to be reset. The map may take several hours to update with the new Private Region location.

You are good for a full quit then - the majority of the nicotine is out of you system in 72 hours.

Is it wrong of a 39 going on 40 yr old to ask out a 19 yr old on a date???

Not a "date" date. Just a "I'm so f**king bored with sitting at home on weekends" date that I'd ask out my own mother"

She's cute, a bit "hefty", but I have NO alterior motives. Its just a "go out for fun" thing.

BTW- I also feel like Poop! Since last Thursday, I have NOT had a cigarette due to a cold. Thank you, Snus! BUT in the last hour?..... 2 cigs. I would've appreciated the comeback of taste & smell BUT.... I have a cold!!! I cant taste nor smell anything!!!

Actually thats good to know!

May 26. Will happen.

God help us all!!!!!!!!!!

Considering I never did any type of drugs or anything, I'd have to say cigs are the toughest thing to give up. Especially if you roll yer own.

SO- if I quit, does this mean Health Benefits are cheaper??? If I "live longer" will there be a guarantee that I can look forward to health care? ;)

After all, the goverment promised that if we all quit, health care would become cheaper!!!

BUT- I'm still trying to figure out, if the taxes on Cigs pay for lots of things, and no one smokes, how do they pay for stuff then??? Yea, I'm seeing a catch to the "healthy" lifestyle.

BTW- SNus? Less nitrosamines than bacon. Thank you Sweden!!!!

And yes- I broke down. Had 3 cigs. Got tired of sucking on snus. SOON- no snus. No cigs. No Cigars. No pipe!!! Quitting!!! COLD TURKEY!!! No other reason other than time for change.

THEN, its off to work on my LuV of Vodka! :p Top that off with an increased effort to exercise

I wrote to WC to ask WHEN they'll put one in the Pittsburgh area. They said they expand when they have the $$$.

After eating their frozen microwaveable burgers, I can only have a happy wet dream about how frickin' good their actual burgers are!!!

DAMN YOU WHITE CASTLE!!! COME TO PITTSBURGH!!!!!!!! YOU ARE THE CRYSTAL METH OF BURGERS!!!!!!!!! :)

G'mornin an g'evening, thread!

this was another one of them very full weekends. One of those ones where I wonder exactly how this all happened, an how it all fit into the space of two days and an evening.

Late Friday night, a friend of mine who does some code work for a certain Virtual World we all inhabit god teeped me into LindenWorld C. this is not the sorta place many of us Residents ever get to see. The Linden in question needed a warm avatar to test on (an no, I doon't tink I can talk too much about the "what" involved, even if I did know), and well, there I was. LindenWorld is a small block of sims that various Lindens use. Part sandbox, part office, the place is pretty chaotic. And yes, you know I snapped piccies. M Linden posted a bunch of piccies recently of LindenWorld on his flickr stream, so I figgure if he can, then I can.

Here's one of the more interesting, of the GTeams "Griefer Area."

The next day was the big snail race. RacerX Gullwing usually does big snail races, but this one was special. Over 100 snails crossing 45 sims as a Relay For Life fundraiser. It was utter chaos. Well, it was close to utter chaos - that was Sunday. Anyway, it was lotsa fun. I was cheering on my brother, who did't quite come in last place. Here's a shot of the leaders from very early on.

This night a Linden teeped me to an event, but not in any place like LindenWorld or nuttin, and not a god teep neither. This time it was a fundraiser for the SL Shakespeare Company. Thing about this? It was a sushi party. Specifically Nyotaimori, or body sushi. I wondered: should a kid avvie be this close to a naked CodeBastard Redgrave, and should I AR myself?

Yes... there is a picture:

Now then, Sunday. Parade time in Nova Albion, in honor of their 5th Anniversary. This really was utter chaos, with enough avatars to fill two mainland sims, enough lag to stop us dead in our tracks, and everything from Barcola zombies to giant musical intrument robots.

Here's just one shot of a small amount of the group including yours truly:

This was crazy, but it was also a ton of fun. Even with all the lag and troubles, I'd gladly do this again -- and will.

Finally, the party with the Forum Cartel. Doin it up 50s style! Thankoo all f'r the fun!

Have a super week, everybuggy!
