A must see, Dresden Gallery. Hera and I were there almost 2 hours tonight and I don't think we scratched the surface of an amazing build. Thank you my angel for our time tonight. /me smiles. It was a wonderful build full of marvelous art works. SL is such a gift on so many levels - (and you my dearest, thank you). @ Mari- great pix again and how cute you are now - what a difference indeed. Last night Hera and Damien spoke of time and SL time - the things we made so long ago. 'Course, Hera is more Palas Athena, having born full from me :-wait, that makes ME Zeus! Oh the confusion... It is nostalgic seeing our first selves and even first builds. Damien, would you and your lady friend stop globetrotting, please? I cannot keep up with you!  /me smiles Thank you for this recommendation, Damien. I cannot wait to take a look.  We should make a group exploration party sometime - I know we have done the shopping but there could be themes- like "Space" "Forest" "Museum" "Nostalgia" I don't know- different, and every one supply a few LM's and we galavant  (I vote we make Soji and Mari official pic takers!)Morning all. Monday again,back to work. Oh wait, I don't work. /me runs and hides quickly/me comes back steals all the coffee and runs away again. I just want to point out that I cleverly stretched out the Rez Day Festival, since today is my actual rez date. do we get another party since I missed the first installment? I forgot last night was Oscar Night, although I wouldn't have watched it anyway. Who won "Most hideous outfit that I could never get away with if I were a real person, but since I'm a star no one will tell me how awful it is " this year? Howdy folks!
Sounds like I missed a couple of great parties over the weekend. A little late maybe but HAPPY REZ DAY to Mari and Mo! Sorry to hear some of you are stilling dealing with winter weather. Hang in there spring is just around the corner. I had to mow the backyard this weekend and the first of the spring flowers are budding out here. Someone mentioned Slum Dog Millionaire a few post back. I just saw it a few days ago. I had no idea what it was about when I walked in, but since then I've been telling everyone to see it. Excellent movie. Also, thanks Mo for the headsup on Comet Lulin. Two nights the week before last the space station was visible here in Houston as it passed over. _____________________

In other news, I had a great weekend in Victoria, BC. It's a lovely city. Had high tea at the Empress Hotel. I felt so civilized. It IS very expensive though! Wow, I was shocked at the prices. Maybe it's just that city?Here's a pic (not mine) of high tea:  _____________________

Hi Oryx - I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Victoria. I've never been there, but I hear it's beautiful. Did you go to Butchart Gardens? I love going to tea!! Didn't hit Butchart Gardens; it is quite a way from Victoria proper and there wasn't time. Plus, it's February and nothing has leaves on it right now. I'd love to go during the summer when everything is in bloom, though! I'll have to save up for that. _____________________
