Have a good one today. I'm off to get my eyebrows waxed this morning. If you hear a terrible loud scream from the north. It's just me.:o

This just made me think of that scene in "The 40 Year Old Virgin"...

And awww, rats. OK...how about a Best in Cowboy Boots contest? No fair wearin' anything except the boots below the waist.

I cannot keep up, and my head is exploding with all these yummy images...

Oh I have a crew of toadies, lackeys, syncophants and various hangers-on to take care of mundane tasks.

Today is (or at least, would've been) Charles Darwin's 200th birthday.

OMG, Ghosty and I were totally rooting for him! Isn't he the cutest thing? And, he nearly had died a few years back no less. We watched both nights of the event. I saw 2 handlers outside Madison Square Garden heading into work in the morning, one with a Whippet all bundled up and one with a dalmation :) Every year one of my friends and I swear we're going to go to that but we always forget. Next year, maybe Ghosty and I will remember?

NO NO NO ---, men do not belong in silks tvm

OK, fig leaf.
Jer, can you handle a fig leaf? How about the rest of you manly men? I need a cheap thrill! ;)

I'm going to have to agree with Amaranthim on this one. The picture I posted should be proof enough. I still can't believe I posted that. :o Shortly after that pic was taken I made a vow to never do it again.

Now fig leaves are another matter. Anything to make the ladies smile, I say. I'm not cheap but I am easy. ;)

Still on the topic of silks, I have to go with the blue. Of course having to choose between Lexxi in blue or red would certainly be a win-win situation.

Ok, next. Brenda, I certain agree about advertising. I know it has it's place, but it's gotten so out of hand (in RL) in my opinion. The ads that are full of half truths, if not outright lies, and seem to be trolling for suckers, make me cringe.

As far as your pics go, several replies have used the word "classy". Nothing more I can add there. :)

Finally, a big "Howdy" to all and welcome back to those that have been away.

I'll remind you, or maybe if I'm in NYC on vacation, we can all go! :) I was rooting for the Scottish Deerhound but Stump was a close second.

Speaking of dogs, mine need to go for a little walk, then I'm off to bed. *wave*

Madhu, congrats on the career change. so? what are you changing to? if i had had the forethought and $$ a few years back, i totally would have wanted to be a lawyer. but no way i'm committing to that sort of schooling now.

I'm going into technical writing. I'm hoping it has all the things I liked about patent law and none of the things I didn't like. I don't regret being an attorney - there's a lot to recommend it for a smart person who likes to be challenged - but there's a lot of pressure and crap to go with it too. A very mixed kind of career (isn't everything though!).
