Good morning threadies! I just want to share the good news - for those who care - that the renovations at my cafe are basically done! (I announced this on group IM last night too, forgive me but I'm excited about it.) I don't want to spam the thread with shameless self-promotion so I won't post them here, but there are a couple of pictures on my flickr page that show what the place looks like now. It's TOTALLY different. There will be a grand re-opening party some time in the next two weeks - I'll let everyone know who cares. I have other news too - tomorrow is my last day as a lawyer! Career change FTW! Hope everyone's doing great! *waves to Maddie* Hi there! I cannot WAIT to see the place - it looks marvelous in your pics. And yay on the career change!! Morning everyone. Brenda you look so classy in those pictures.
Re forums: I set one up on my rl personal website last week. I was trying to make a place where my husband and a song writing collaborator could talk and exchange files. It turns out my hosting plan doesn't allow big enough files to be uploaded that way - and the song got written fine without my help anyway - but it was kind of an interesting exercise. I still don't know how most of the code works etc... but I learned a little bit. _____________________
