Same here; I like reading AND computer stuff; I'm lazy but I have insomnia.

Exactly - I have only a very few people who I consider close friends, but it's not because I'm incapable of trusting people.

Good morning all my Thready Friends...

Late as usual, and this morning look like I actually have to engage my brain at work, instead of going through the motions... the things they want for a paycheck.

@Elora, I would not make it to the party as I don't get home from work til after 7 SLT. Sounds fun, tho...

@CX, Wow, what a lovely and poignant poem. Simple, sweet, evocative, it's really wonderful.

@ Yosef.. Hmmm, got my red cape... ;)

Have a great day, everyone.

:)

Thanks for the good words about my "prose". I don't consider it a poem. I was actually feeling that way this morning when wrote it. I am feeling much better now. It is hard for male type persons to over come thousands of years of evolution. But, I am working on it.

CX- there is nothing to overcome- embrace it and be you.

There is more than likely nothing at all wrong with you- nor with the object of your letter. Maybe it just wasn't right together - some times, we are just not with the right people and it takes longer to find the right one.

Glad you feel better.

OMG!
Kaimi=Trout,
and Trout=Kaimi
No wonder I like you both!

What's that expression again?
Birds of a feather... eat cookies together. Hmm, something like that.

We're crows, not pigeons. I think we have to eat road kill together.

Edit - but I agree with Kaimi - I like Isabeau and cookies.

LOL, wasn't expecting that, made me spit out my coffee in my hand.
My first beverage spewing ever. Up until now, I thought people were just pretending.

That was good. I thought it was just another MJ impersonation until the other guy showed up. The thing that bothers me about that show are the people off stage making comments and such. The camera is always back there, instead of on the stage...

That is SO much better than what I had. I'm embarrassed to say I had McDonald's chicken strips. I had to run to the library to p/u some travel books on Italy, and didn't have time to have a real meal.

/me feels so low and dirty :o

Wow I bet that is annoying. Glad to say they aren't on the American version of the show.

Yes! Going to Italy next Spring! But I don't feel low and dirty about that, I feel low and dirty about eating McDonalds  Especially while planning a trip to Italy. How awful is that?

Probably spending most of our time in Sicily, since my husband's family (both sides) comes from there. Totally psyched!

They should make mini meals for those of us who want a taste, and still leave some room for nutritious foods.

(I'll have 6 mini meals, please.)

Thanks for that link! And I've already visited a few of the Italian sites too, like Venice which was gorgeous with a capitol "G"! Of course it reminded me of the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas being as jaded as I am lol. Can't wait to see the real thing and get that cheesiness out of my head for good :)
