From: Brenda Connolly I had to sell me camera to help pay for him awww that's actually quite sad but on the upside I know that the puppy will love you forever whereas a camera is a little less fulfilling in the love department

From: Maureen Boccaccio Yes, snow is a difficult thing. It's so lovely...peaceful...everyday noises are muted...time slows down...people take time to talk with their neighbors... But gah!! Driving can be a nightmare...even if you know what you're doing...others may not. We do not get a lot of snow here in the D.C. area. It's pretty erratic, and many people who live here hail from parts of the globe where there's even less snow. So, when it does snow...people go nuts. It's as if they forgot anything they learned about driving in hazardous condition...like how to brake... And then! The craziness at the grocery stores is very amusing. At the first sign of a snowflake, there's a rush on milk, bread and toilet paper. everything you said in this posting is true..... HERE! we get snow 4 months out of the year, and to this day i am amazed at the stupidity of some people. to be fair, i have been known to be attracted to the break myself... you just have to decide BEFORE you get in the car that you will jsut ride it out and use your accelerator/steering experience and not cave into the raw human reaction to try to STOP when things are going badly.

From: Love Hastings Agreed! Better to be a demon. You can go out during the day. And raising hell is expected. When you take that last of the coffee at the office, you don't have to make a fresh pot. Think about that! Yeah, and can vampires even DRINK coffee? Let alone birthday lemon bars...

From: Lexxi Gynoid long time ago a sports-car was going about 90 down the road. Not sure what happened but the next thing I saw was the car spinning in the air. Landing on its tires, braking wildly. And then slowly moving forward again. i bet it took a firehose to get the inside of that car cleaned out. LOL

Actually I get the feeling some people do like to be challenged. What they seem to be after is the opportunity to righteously defend themselves over what they choose to interpret as a personal attack...

No generally we cannot, for those that can stand to though we can ingest things that we cannot digest but must get rid of it later. This helps us maintain an illusion of life around our prey...erm people VV

From: Kaimi Kyomoon Here's a picture of my own amusing story: The yellow car is me. I could see by the orange cones that I wasn't supposed to go there. But I saw the blue car coming and I didn't want to wait for it. And I could see that there was nothing to stop me from going through the blocked off section. I even sped up so I would get there first and not confuse the blue car about what I was doing. It wasn't until I made the turn that I realized the asphalt was coated in fresh oil. I did a complete 360. As I started forward again the people in the blue car actually pointed and laughed at me as they went past. It was good to be alive enough to be embarrassed. and i not only love your art, but i love the "big drop down". so simple, yet so telling.

If 3R hadn't pointed out the "big drop down" I wouldn't have thought twice about it. That sounds like something I'd hear all the time. You must have some Texan in you. PS, Good luck with the new puppy, Brenda!

From: 3Ring Binder and i not only love your art, but i love the "big drop down". so simple, yet so telling. In situations like this I have really good reactions and instincts. (At least I have had so far.) If I had had to recite things to myself like, "turn into a skid, don't brake too hard" - or what ever the rules are - I probably would have ended up sailing over the edge.
