Goodnight, Threadies - hope you're enjoying the weekend.

Oh, and here's the elegant outfit I put together for Skell & Daros' wedding. It was quite the posh affair, held in the local trailer park:

I took particular pains to match my shoes with my jewelry and nailpolish. :D

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Better get a better lawyer. He has Trout on retainer, which may or may not be to your advantage.

Do LEGOs count? I'm a...uh..."collector"...yeah that's it...:o A collector who can't stand to see the poor things suffering inside boxes. :D

YEP!

I think every parent dredded them, for LEGOs, were like lil' landmines they'd step on at night, causing pain.

If you've ever stepped on one, you'll know what I mean ;)

Good morning, threadies!

/me sips a cup of coffee from Claire...thanks! :)

@ Vamp - Legos are the coolest. I almost fainted the first time I went to Legoland and got to see the builds there.

here's one:

@ Tod: LOL, yes Legos can be landmines!! So can doggie chew bones.:(

@ Ann: But..but Trout all but said he wasn't going to do a good job for Desmond. Trout will be working behind the scenes for you, I just know it.

@ FD: a Mummy avatar would be AWESOME. Re: Halloween - in RL, I will be on trick-or-treat patrol from about 2-7 SLT. Apparently I live in Kid Central, so I my house will be visited by the candy-deprived hordes of the town. (You think I am joking when I use the word horde, but dang I cannot believe how many kids come to the house each year.) And we have a bonfire in the park behind my house so everyone hangs around, drinking cider, eating ginger cookies, and listening to music.

So, after all that, I will probably poke around in SL to see what mischief can be had.

On Saturday, November 1st, there's the 12-hour Halloween Party at the Forum Cartel hangount, Now THAT'S a party. :D

Thanks for all the well-wishes, everyone! Maureen, sorry I didn't answer your IM last night. I never normally stay logged inworld when I sleep, but last night was an exception, as I wanted to cuddle my new hubby while we both slept :)

Sorry, too, that the invite list was so small, but we didn't want a lagfest where everyone was ruthed and not able to enjoy themselves, so we deliberately kept the guest list to a minimum. I think everyone had as much fun with our rather unconventional wedding as we did, though ;)

The build will remain in-situ until just before Oct 6th, as that's how long we've rented the land for, so if anyone wants a fun location to take pics of themselves as trailertrash, then please feel free to pop over there and snap away. There's poseballs all over the place for you to lounge and slob about on. Most of the stuff we used in the build was from Urban Spirit, Arcadia Asylum, or Phobos Trailer Park, and it was just about all free. A great deal of what's at the build is free to copy, too, so if you like anything you can probably grab a copy.

I've put a Flickr set up here:

And I've added to my favourites other pics taken by those attending (you hafta check out Brann's fabulous pics on there!)

http://www.flickr.com/photos/skelldagger/favorites/

Thanks again to everyone who attended, and who really dressed down for the part. You were all fabulously trashy! And thanks to those that followed our pre-scripted shotgun wedding, and to those that ad-libbed so brilliantly as our drunken, good-fer-nuthin bum relatives. Dammit, we need to host more parties like that *g*

Snuck in a time or two last night here and in-world but for less than five minutes each time. Hope to be back tomorrow. And of course occasional cameo appearances here. Be well all - hugs and kisses.

LOL. I loved my set of jacks.

Of course, random marbles left on the floor are also a treat. Not so much painful as dangerous...

good morning everyone.

I loved my jacks also, and suffered a few wounds from them as well. Like Rio, the thing I remember most about legos is stepping on my son's random scattered pieces. When he was 20, he finally agreed that he did not need to keep all of them -- enough to fill a large closet.

@Skell - major congrats to you two !!! While looking at your photos, I laughed so hard and was reminded of this wedding cake topper that I had seen a while back -- love that pose:

yes typical tourists

I have been looking for a pair of shoes in world that has a heel made out of tiny prims. So it may have a city scene built in the heel. Does anyone know where that is or who makes things like that?
