I tried basil in it, but it didn't seem to work with that recipe. What you could do is add some chopped tomatoes and even a red bell pepper, and use the lemon juice and the basil and that would give it a different spin.

mmmmmmmmmmmm i'm so hungry!

me me me me meeeeeeeeee yes, i use a lot of couscous. i use stock broth too. YUMMERS!

did you know you can also use marinara sauce on it? or make it south of the border with fresh cilantro and/or fresh salsa? YUM!

Make the couscous with the chicken broth, then saute some shrimp in olive oil and garlic, then throw in some salsa and toss it around. Throw it on top of the cous cous.

Mushies in any form are an endangered species in this house- when I buy plain button ones- I have to hide them from the kid or they wont make it to dinner - shitakke is on his grocery wish list and the brat ate the last of my truffllesssss!!!!

Yummy sounding soup Brenda- I made a recent discovery- who likes couscous?

Usually it is made with water and whatever u add to it- I decided to make it with chicken stock.. Yum! Chicken stock, parsley, garlic and olive oil - tonight we had it with fish- the other night accompanying lamb-very good both times. I have bonito flakes used in some Asian soups that might be worth trying too.. hmm... /me goes off to plot an odd cultural culinary melange...

lol. couscous is great stuff. very versatile.

Well, we finished the conference in style -- had our ending banquet and when that ended we went out and closed down the hotel bar (can you believe a casino actually closes their bars?), and then we went to one of the VP's room and partied until 4:00 am when she had to get ready to go to the airport.

I did manage 4 or 5 hours of off and on sleep before I headed to the airport. Then wait 2 hrs in Detroit airport, 3 1/2 hour layover in Chicago, and finally home - I am totally dead. I cannot even remember the last time I was in bed this early on a Friday, but I am heading that way now.

Night night everyone.

Here's one of the New SinSkins 2.0 I bought. It is Shade 5 which equates with the old Nimbus line, which actually is a step darker than what I was wearing, The Stratus.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
