Here's one of the New SinSkins 2.0 I bought. It is Shade 5 which equates with the old Nimbus line, which actually is a step darker than what I was wearing, The Stratus.

Lovely!

Mornin' everyone. Rain..rain...rain...rain.

Time to throw cinnamon rolls in the oven, and fire up the waffle iron. That'll show mother nature!

Some of us still have a "blankie". :o

It's a Snoopy themed bedsheet I've had since I was 6. Can't sleep without it. It always stays cold- even when I had a heated water bed, and its SO soft now. Its job now is more of a pillow/eye cover. It even came in handy long ago when some friends & I spent the night sleeping at my cousin's house, on the patio. It got VERY cold out. My sleeping bag wasnt warm enough. SO- I rolled up it my blankie while inside the sleeping bag & kept nice & warm.

I think everyone has that 1 childhood object they cant part with. :)

No "blankie" here but I do have my sleeping fetishes which include two very old feather/down pillows which mold themselves perfectly to my head when I lay down. Those coupled with two new feather/down pillows, 3" mattress topper on top of which is a sheep skin rug (Learned that trick from someone I absolutely HATE: Martha Stewart) and then 600 thread count sheets make up my current cocoon configuration. It is kind of like laying down on a cloud but still has the perfect amount of support, plus it's neither too hot or too cold, no matter what the season. Goldilocks would have been very pleased, I know my puppy dog is!

EDIT: Ooops forgot both a summer weight and a winter weight down comforters.

LOL! Nice story. Hmmm...let's see. I still have a rag doll that my grandmother gave me when I was two. I was told the doll's name was Margaret. I never knew why until years later when I learned that was my grandmother's first name. :p

Over the years, I've replaced her yarn hair, redone the embroidered facial features, and repaired her dress. :)

I still have my teddy bear. Had him since I was about 5, he's been everywhere with me. Went to every hospital trip, and still has his very own wrist band lol.
I still sleep with him occasionally, but I have to keep him at my Grandma's house because that cats like him too much.
He's still in pretty good nick surprisingly...but my 1st ever toy - a rabbit soft toy with a rattle inside - is covered in chocolate stains lol.

OMG! I still have my very 1st Teddy bear.

My dad bought him at the hospital the day I was born, so he's a whole 39 yrs old.

His nose is flattened, his 'googly eyes' no longer flop around, his brown fur is coming off in places, and his wind-up music box that plays "lullaby" is, well, almost gone 'kaput'.

But every year, for my birthday, I bring him out of the closet to celebrate with me. :)

Tell your teddy bear that there are support groups that can help him accept who and what he is. There is no need to feel shame.

It can be...if ya want.

I wasn't gonna put Sin skins on there simply because its such a complicated place for a bug group of people to manouver, but if people wanna go I can put it on there.

Good morning everyone. Fabulous look, Brenda.

I woke to this sad news:

Paul Newman, the legendary actor whose steely blue eyes, good-humored charm and advocacy of worthy causes made him one of the most renowned figures in American arts, has died of cancer at his home in Westport, Connecticut. He was 83.

Thanks for that link, Brenda. I have loved watching Paul in films since I was very little. He has always been one of my favorite actors -- and not just cuz he had a smokin bod back then.
