I really wish a potion would fix it. I basically started off dealing with extreme dry eye condition (probably from the lasik years ago). Extreme dry eye sometimes results in an severe sensitivity to light of any kind. The doctor has now plugged one of my tear ducts and will be plugging the other eye in a few weeks - and I really really hope that that solves the issues (plugging one has at least helped a little bit).

It is funny in a way -- I have my monitor turned down on brightness, I keep the lights off in the rooms that I am in, and I wear really expensive sunglasses anywhere that I do not have control over the lighting. I get teased a lot about trying to be a prima donna, but I just figure 'whatever works so that I can still see the world'.
people blink alot less if they spend alot of time in front of computers. In severe cases it causes the sensitivity to light, I'm not sure if it's directly due to dryness. I'm not sure what the remedy is either, but I know this is a somewhat common problem of the digital age. There's some truth to the geek hiding in the dark stereotypes. Flourescent lighting such as is common in most Dilbert-esque places makes matters far worse due to a strobe between the flourescent flicker rate and monitor refresh flicker rate.

so stop staring at SL and blink once in awhile! :p

Not many people know this but I have a SL daughter also - no not Winter she is a daughter of darkness only. My born daughter is called Persephone and was born in Gor a long long time ago when Gabs was just a poor mortal. I have a feeling that Persephone might be about to get an skin/shape upgrade ;)

Ann do tell where do I go to get such a cute upgrade for her?

OK, but what about the other two?

It's called Love Child Adoptions, owned by Posy Trudeau, who also runs Miau Haus and CIVVIES. She currently has the kittens (black and white), panda bear, honey bear, dark pixie, woodland pixie, emo, and anarchist babies.

She needs goth and/or vampire versions too though!

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Yes I wrote it, I was feeling a little melancholy earlier and it came to me. I was thinking about how some people think that just because you want to be whatever you want to be here in SL and they just want to be themselves that they see something wrong with it and therefore you. That was caused by a few in world issues that happened recently and then reading some of the negative postings where people dump all vamps into the same category as the Bloodlines users.

*hugs*

Pity. BL is a game system designed to make money, nothing more. To avoid the negatives, yuo either spread the game to new people or you spend money. It's almost a scam taking advantage of something popular at the moment.

We could start up a Neko game. We could even tie it to xcite or sensations parts -- if you ever do the dirty you can no longer wear a tail. Well, there is always the elixer of youth for 1337L$

I'm not up on my anime, but there ought to be a way to do Naruto or DBZ or whatever the hell is the hot anime today game. Personally I would rather go with hentia but then that's just me :)

Good Morning All :)

Thanks for your empathy you guys even though I really hesitated to explain because it was just a little blimp in my mood and I have not posted for a while too but I didn't realise the verse sounded so sorrowful until after I posted and then thought I should explain it lol.

@Yosef: I agree with your viewpoint, I view the BL game as a pyramid type scheme whose out come could easily be seen reading the rules that it would lead to harassing people. It also gives people who want to rp vamps properly a bad name :(

EDIT: Oh and walk the plank, me scurvy dog landlubbers, arrr!

I know that there is no shortage of hurricane damage picks on the web but this link is to a good selection of pictures. There are some before and after picks that give an idea of the extent of the damage, so I thought I'd share it here for anyone that might be interested.

Wow, some of those images are amazing. In terms of composition, something you'd expect to see in National Geographic or something.

Horrific devastation. Unfortunately, not the last of it as people continue to put themselves (and their builds) into Nature's way.

Just imagine the offspring those two could have produced.
