LL needs to put signs up on OI explaining the things that can't really happen here, and that when you buy something, it goes into inventory, not your hand.
/me imagines newbs buying something 100 times "but it never showed up in my hand!"

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that all the psycho villains in a National TV show hang out on SL? I mean what better way to convince america that we residents are all broken, perverted men pretending to be women, while living in their mother's basement reading child pronography.
I am not sure this is the best move. |

The US broadcasts included Second Life promos that ran a few times during the show. They must have been edited out of the version you got in Canada. Yes as I mentioned in the post - Canadian cable companies "hijack" US network commercial spots and run their own. I'm guessing if anyone in Canada watched the show with a sat dish or "good ol' antennae" watched the direct feed from the US and saw the promos. _____________________

Uhm, it's Network television. What did you expect, Masterpiece Theatre? Some of this shock, horror and indignation over the show is probably more entertaining than the show was. *I* wasn't shocked, horrified, OR indignant about the show... I did throw up in my mouth a little, though. |

So that's why my sales went up.... But seriously though, my sales have shot up since the CSI episode, I normally had may 1 or 2 a day during a good week over a range of my products, but I've sold six or seven a day for the last few days of my high-range ones to new avatars that don't seem related to each other (don't mention each other in profiles or such). The thing that interests me is that the high-range stuff in my shop is currently only a handful of adult furry products since I'm in dire need of some time to finish other things. Hrm, makes me wonder; if it is the CSI folks, precisely why these CSI fans are interested in SL =) _____________________

My best sales day in quite a while was on the day the show aired. But I was curious enough to look up some of my customers and none of them were newbies.
