I read ALL the posts in this thread. I came to a general conclusion, and posted--it was not an assumption. Should I do a background check on people I quote? Your previous post stated your belief, plain as day. How else am I to comment on your comment?

Im not being difficult to be difficult - Im saying sex is often a consideration in most of the products in second life. Its a derivitive of the fact that SL residents have virtual relationships online. A lot of people do. Probably Most people do.

You ignoring that fact doesnt change it.

Your island having nothing to do with sex does not change it either - theres thousands of sims. Your island is a tiny fraction of a percentage of those availible.

Anyway i do not believe all that there is to do in SL is sex and gamble. i don't like gambling and i only have sex with my mate. Most of the time i am scripting/building expressing y vivid imagination in a colorful world thank you very much.

My opinion about how banning sex would ruin SL is based that sex is a natural part of life, and to revoke peoples right to do something that comes natural to all living things, is just unsound.

Whoa, who are you talking about? I only know Colette from the forums but I don't get that impression of her in any way. She stands up for herself and her opinions, sure, but you do the same for yourself. I've never seen ANY evidence that she's close minded; in fact, she seems quite open to new experiences and the whole concept of live and let live.

Maybe you are reading different threads than I am. The voice chat debate is proof enough of her unwillingness to be open to new things.

She'll find any excuse to denounce something she doesn't like because it's not enough that she doesn't like it and others do. When all her points have been refuted she resorts to semantics and deflection and ultimately belittlement of the person she can't properly debate with.

That's what I've gathered from seeing her in action anyway. But whatever.

It's a PG Island, I put in my notes about renting PG land that people can't setup adult business. There are a lot more mature plots than PG though.
