Should LL employees enable griefers?

If there is a sub-culture within Linden Lab of people who basically feel that bullying some particular resident or residents is pretty much okay (whether or not said resident or residents have inconvenienced them or annoyed them), then that's a real issue.

If such a hypothetical sub-group has engaged in giving open or even tacit encouragement to non-Lindens to engage in harassment, then that, too, is a real issue.

The particular allegation in this particular thread (that a Linden saw and approved an act of hostile graffiti) may not be capable of proof.

That doesn't mean we should forget about the allegation nor should we declare it out-of-bounds for discussion. But we should bear in mind that it's only an allegation.

Already have, some time ago. I"ve been winding down SL for some time now, because it's day has past. They had a real chance to do something great, and they pissed it away.

Prok was minding her own business. Her blog was relatively calm and then this barrage of harassment. And the griefers enjoy that you enjoy it.

I"ve never met Prok, and never plan to. She has her issues, as everyone does in life. But I can see from her perspective, and I can empathise with her plight. So yes, we are in some ways the same. If I was her alt, I wouldnt' have lasted 20 pages before an outburst though, I can guarantee you.

Darien you've presented hearsay as fact. Even Prok isn't doing that. People asked you for evidence and you haven't been able to provide evidence to backup your "facts". That's why you've been challenged.

Prok does not deserve the griefing and associated financial loss, Linden lab should do more to ensure Prok isn't subjected to this sort of abuse, he's being bullied but that doesn't make your facts correct, you've made extremely serious claims against a Linden Lab employee.

If you were Prok's alt, your posts would be much longer, nastier and make a lot less sense.

PS, I wouldn't even *know* what the supposed griefers did, if this person wasn't raving and ranting and advertising it instead of quietly AR'ing it.
