I can lick, suck or bite anyone I want, any time I want, whatever anyone thinks. Preferably Kris, Sio or Lotte. Pfft!

Rejected by the Administrator as not meeting rule 13. The LMAO was the give away.

Proposing EGGY-004:

A Nomic support system shall be set up that will allow our most exalted Administrator to be relieved of the terrible burden of manually keeping track of votes and proposals.

Also, EGGY-005:

Players may elect to throw a Nomic party in SL, and rules elaborated there will be integrated with the existing Forum Nomic / Funky Voting Thread. Our beloved Nomic dictator CatFart may elect to supervise the game in person, through a delegate, or rely on any eventual support system that may be coded in the future.

Proposed,

that the phrase "For simplicity's sake" as employed in EGGY - 003 be universally accepted as the minimum tone of thinly-veiled contempt for the intellectual capacities of fellow players which a proposal author may employ.

Vote Yes for LM-001, 002 and 003

And also ask the administrator to uphold rule 15 as it applies to SG-02, as "administrator" has five syllables.

Eggy-002: Vote Yes

Eggy-003:
From: someone
Players should show some restraint in offering proposals, so that the voting queue does not get out of hand, making it easier for us (and CatFart) to keep track of things.

Vote Yes

Eggy-003:
From: someone
For simplicity's sake, you may not vote for or against your own proposal.
This shall not be used to retroactively cancel any votes.

Vote No

And I ask Eggy to renumber his proposals :)

OMG! LOL! Well I think renumbering myself would be dangerous and it's up to CatFart to solve this little ambiguity.

Proposal KALLEB-1,

Since it's exceedingly time consuming of my valuable work time, the person specified in rule 4 of this nomic (or any nomic containing this proposal) must here in submit a complete ruleset, as well as the time and date of validity to any persons whom may request it, at a fixed interval, via any medium of their choice. Requests for a synaposis must be posted in this nomic (as previously defined) as the form of a proposal.

Curses!! I shall withdraw SG-02 and reword it. Hmm this could be a problem.

Proposal Kalleb-002,

Proposals may be confusing, only in the condition that said rule makes an appropriate use of a word containing 9 or more syllables.

BTW, Cynicism is also defined as being self-modivated. ;) And I don't once use a word with more than 4 sylabals. ;)

Also, there is no benchmark for what is difficult to understand.

I propose that all proposals be renumbered and prefixed according to the initials of the poster, the post number, date and time (gmt) of original proposition and it's user designated code in order that they are easily referenced back to the source. I propose Catfart get busy doing it and lists each proposal currently on the table in a new post, ordered and indexed with summaries using the new system. :p

E.g.

KU/216/19:40-02-08-2005/KALLEB-1

I think you should enact this just to make Catfart go through a hellish amount of work. lol

I would like to remind people that they can see proposals in a slightly more organized fashion at the SL wiki.

I'll accept the lack of long words. I'm not sure I understand your cynicism argument tho', what do you mean?
I'll agree we are lacking some definitions

The following proposals are rejected as not meeting rule 13

EGGY-003
DDG-11 (Originally DDG-10)
DDG-12 (Originally DGG-11)
EGGY-004
EGGY-005

Oh, and what was the problem with Eggy's numbering?
