I vote no to Ace's proposal for somthing strange to do with rule 9. Why is everyone picking on rule 9?

I'm going to get harsh with the porposals, now. The rules are that a proposal must contain A proposal to change the rules. Details is requried Im afraid. And no amendments to proposals. or suggesting changes, if I cant figure out what the wording is supposed to be, I wont add it to the proposals.

I will also edit the orginal rules at the top of the post.

'1.' This game is named Forum Nomic. This document is the set of rules by which Forum Nomic is run.

'2.' "Forum" in this ruleset is taken to mean this bulletin board, located at http://forums.secondlife.com

'3.' All players must abide by all rules currently in effect. The author of each message replying to this post is considered a player, unless they state that they do not wish to be a player. The Roster, or list of players, is part of the game state. Any player may forfeit their player status at will by by posting their forfeiture to this post.

'4.' The Administrator is a player who is responsible for maintaining the ruleset and the game state, and regularly posting these to the Forum. The identification of the Administrator is part of the game state. The Administrator is Catfart Grayson.

'5.' Any player may propose a rule change by posting a message describing the change to be made to this post. Players responding to a message containing a proposal are entitled to one vote each on it, until five votes have been cast on the proposal. At that point, if there are more votes in favor than against, the change is made by the Administrator; otherwise the message loses its proposal status. No player is entitled to more than one vote on any proposal.

'6.' The score of each player is part of the game state. Initially the score of a player is 0.

Congratulations to Eggy and Zuzi who have both scored one point since the last update. However, since there is still no rule on how to win, that doesnt actually mean they are in the lead. What if we vote in that the winner is the person with the least points?

If three people have voted for the quintuplet rule then it has passed by default. You can't hold up an item waiting for a fifth vote that will not affect the outcome.

However, the rules state that five votes must be cast before the proposal is accepted or rejected.

You need to persuade two more people to vote on your proposal.

No it wont. When Neehai put the proposal in, there was no rule saying it was "illegal". When it becomes a rule, there will no longer be a proposal.

Plus it still needs another vote.

Well... I was considering a sex-slave proposal involving you, a rubber mask and a turnip, but I thought better of that.

I therefore propose that in the event of the proposal to share sex-slaves fails, then a new proposal be drafted whereby Kris gets an equal share of Willow, and moreover also gets an equal share of the yellow goo oozing from Eggy's crack.
