I'm not one much for car-rides but just this once i'll let you borrow my ninja's, only warning is that they are distracted by the following:

Dishwashers
Cupcakes
oven fresh bread
mailmen
pink buildings
cute and fuzzy animals,
subways
submarines
crudely drawn anime characters
Dishwasher detergent
the Elderly
and finaly, well not really but,
Staplers, and cheese...candy..and yeah

So they'll be around there a bout 16 hours after the 22nd starts,
if they take the ninja express M9 mech,

I found some deals on Southwest airlines that are less than $200 for one way. In fact, what I found the other day when looking was 188 there and 120 back. That was not including taxes and such. Considering the time it would take to get there, and the cost of gas, it is cheaper to fly. :)

probally but i gotta carry my rig with me and im sure airport security would look at my funny tring to cary a dual monitor rig with a 80lb computer onto a plane. ;p

if you do fly i can leave my precious computer at home I guess if you think we could get a group fee?

I used to live in D'Ville, Chad. :) Back in San Diego though so no road trip for me. :(

Nala and I will most likely be flying up on the 21st. I've been looking through the thread again and maybe I missed it but when exactly are we going to converge on LL? Best bet would be to do it around an hour before LL closes their doors for the weekend.

We can kidnap them and take them partying with us! YAY!!!

I have no idea where the seats were, I just assumed they were inside the plane. :p

They were special deals with Southwest Airlines. The Atlanta airport is about 3.5 hours from my house, but worth the drive for the deal.

Update! I was talking the other night with Ian Linden, our ops-Linden extraordinaire, about this impromptu Resident excursion to Linden Lab. We put our heads together trying to figure out what we could do to make the occasion more memorable.

We appreciate the effort you all are making to visit us. And your enthusiasm is infectious....so we're going to organize a tour of the server colocation facility on Friday!

So not only will you see the offices where we all work, but you'll also get a chance to see the actual servers that host all the sims of Second Life. :)
