Not that I'm encouraging any of this, but I wanted to let everyone know that landing in Oakland Airport is a valid option, as there is a shuttle thing that will take you right to the BART. But SFO is a bit easier because BART goes right to the airport. Bay Area public transit is second to none (at least on this side of the pond). the three regional airports are san jose, san franciso, and oakland. san francisco and oakland are closer to sf, and you can get from them to sf easy on BART. it is often faster to arrive in oakland and go to sf. san jose is further away, and you'd need to rent a car, take a taxi, or try to take a commuter train, but southwest airline has a major hub in san jose... so some flights are cheaper there. there is also a shuttle from San Jose to SFO the is resonably priced *pouts* already gunna be in the area mid Aug so can't afford it twice _____________________

can't be there.... have a wedding to finish.... Youngest is gettin' married July 30 and the wedding shower is the 22nd otherwise I'd do my darndest.
