Ok..damnit!! Priceline.com has these great low prices, but I got to looking at the details, and with airfare, they won't tell you your flight times until AFTER you buy the package, and it can be anywhere between 6AM - 10PM. And after checking, I found that all the cheaper deals land you in Oakland, instead of SF. *shivers* That sucks ass.

So i'm gonna end up paying $150 more through Expedia, just so that I can choose my flight times and actually land in SF...grrrr. But at least I'll be at the Omni, so don't start partying without me!

Not that I'm encouraging any of this, but I wanted to let everyone know that landing in Oakland Airport is a valid option, as there is a shuttle thing that will take you right to the BART. But SFO is a bit easier because BART goes right to the airport. Bay Area public transit is second to none (at least on this side of the pond). Not that I'm encouraging any of this, but I wanted to let everyone know that landing in Oakland Airport is a valid option, as there is a shuttle thing that will take you right to the BART. But SFO is a bit easier because BART goes right to the airport. Bay Area public transit is second to none (at least on this side of the pond). More info on all things public transit in the Bay Area: http://www.511.org/

the three regional airports are san jose, san franciso, and oakland. san francisco and oakland are closer to sf, and you can get from them to sf easy on BART. it is often faster to arrive in oakland and go to sf. san jose is further away, and you'd need to rent a car, take a taxi, or try to take a commuter train, but southwest airline has a major hub in san jose... so some flights are cheaper there.

Stone.. if you are honestly serious, I would *very* much love to take you up on this offer. I just asked my husband (well, jumped up and down with excitement and nearly threw him into the wall..

) to ask if he would mind if I tried to come based on this.

We are trying to buy a house, limited budget as always. The little one is spending the summer with her grandparents in South Carolina.. and well hell! This is one of those rare opportunities I could cut loose and do if I only had the money!!

Long story short. If you are serious! I would love to take you up on this offer. If someone could help me find my way around, crash, and make it back on the plane home.. hehe.. I would so very very much love to see you all!!

So 160,000 Lindens might get us there.
