Greetings!
A bunch of as are planning on invading San Francisco - and Linden Lab - in what has turned into an unofficial, unplanned kind of SL convention this summer!
So far confirmed are myself, the lovely Jennyfur, Munchflower Zaius, Hiro Pendragon (and his much, much better half), Valadeza Anubus, and Adam Zaius (from out of town). Nearby folks like Talila Liu, Green Fate and Baba Yamamoto (I'm sure I'm forgetting some, too) have said they'll try to pop in as well!
We also have a lot of "might show ups" - Maxx Monde, Cristiano, Chosen Few, and a ton of others!
So... if you've ever wanted the chance to slap me in person... here's your chance! Some people are arriving on the 21st, others on the 22nd. Some are staying past the 24th as well. So come if you can! We'll post hotel information here once we decide which hotel we're staying in. Late night drunkening is much easier if you're all in the same hotel, after all! Many Lindens are aware of our planned invasion, so be prepared for some resistance, which I'm sure alcohol will take care of!

That sounds reallyreallyreally cool. For some reason I keep thinking if I met some Lindens in person, they'd appear like their oddball, "classic" (as some haven't changed for years, I reckon) avatars... LOL... but I'm sure all in all, they are digital manifestations of great people. Still, the imagination does wonder.
Is there still a whiteboard up to sign or stuff? I think it should be sprayed with some sort of protective coating (if not already) so signatures and blurbs don't get wiped out. _____________________
