Please know this is a legitimate campaign. To date there have 481,424 signatures. Additionally the following ad was featured in the New York Times. Just wanted to ensure people realize this is a legitimate campaign not a terrorist cell working within America! ;)

Clinton was impeached, yes, but he was not convicted and retained his presidency and rightfully so. I think we all know that was stupid.

Anyways. The patriot act is not grounds for impeachment. It's the supreme court's job to stop this stuff and in an impeachment hearing it would not be valid for that very reason.

War in Iraq? going to war and is not an impeachable offense. it's congresses job to stop an unjust war -- And yeah -- people die. Thats NOT a war crime. If we shot a surrending Saddam on the spot... THAT would be a warcrime. Even then, Bush would not be held responsible unless the order came from him.

Guantanimo bay is probably the best point, but few people care.

The problem is, while many of these things might be immorally offensive to some of us(including my self), that does not mean its an impeachable offense.

The success of any campaign of this sort lies in being realistic. This is not.

Impeachment will do nothing. The only thing that will rid us of Bush & company is good, undisputable dirt. A skeleton will have to come out of the closet. Someone who knows something will have to speak up. Damaging, genuine documents will have to surface. Something that would not only lead to impeachment, but also serious jail time. All of these things are longshots.

Until any of these things happen, we are all screwed. As it was said earlier in this thread, if Bush goes, we get Cheney. All we can do now is embrace the horror. :(

I apologize and I realize only a few percent are neocons. Oh yeah ty for your comment about my girls. Don't you just love your baby....bring happiness and joy to our lives. :)

Thanks... apology accepted.

And yeah, she had me from day one. Kids are the spice of life. They are so inocent and full of joy, I wish we could bottle that up and have the rest of us take a dose from time to time. To have the faith of a child for one day would be quite valuable indeed.

The Supreme court is but another embodiment of the government. It is our job to make certain that the constitution is adhered to for the protection of the sovereign states. There is not a bought and paid for court in the land who will answer the cause of the disobediant American. And the states authority has been muddied by the fact that they accept bribes by way of "grants" to bend over for Fed-co. However, We are the congress, we are the people spoken of in that great article of democracy...in the end it is the will of the people which reigns supreme in these united but sovereign states of America. It is not the will of some court official appointed by any power of the federal government.

As for war crimes you are correct we did not shoot Saddam but many have died in prison hoping, praying for a fair trial yet smothered under the cloak of intelligence gathering. The Geneva Conventions have been broken and that is criminal enough for me. Do tell what is your definition of impeachable...treason, Bush has commited treason as in violation of allegiance toward one's country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one's country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies. He has commited treason by way of the Patriot acts (you should read them if you truly want insight into how far he and Rummy have gone in an effort to erode our constitutional rights) and the snake eaters, treason against the constitution which is the apotheosis of his country. He has sullied the very freedoms and liberties which this country was founded upon and for that he should be considered a criminal.

This administration has waged war against the constitution, against the bill of rights and against any individual who dare disagree with its diatribe. This is an offense worth fighting , far moreso than a stain on a blue dress.

.... If you're against the whole government then impeachment isn't going to help. Impeachment if brought up would not be successful. It's all government. if you're going to be like this, stop cutting corners and aim for revolution. :P

To quote my fave man of the evening...but if only I had a neighbor who's spine I could not put my hand through...then maybe we would have the makings of revolution. But there is nothing wrong with a peaceful revolution, in fact I prefer it and this act of peacful demonstration is just the sort of thing needed in the US. It is acts such as this which force folk to get off their keister and figure out what is going on. It is acts such as this which make Americans take their collective heads out of the sand and knock the administration down a peg closer to where it belongs. Why fight with guns and warfare what can be fought with values and principles?

Draft Articles of Impeachment of President George W. Bush and other named officials of the United States charge the most serious crimes known to law and history. Nothing in the experience of the impeachment power under the Constitution compares. The conduct charged threatens the Constitution, the United Nations, the rule of law and the lives of unknown thousands, or millions of people by their act and example.

The alleged impeachable acts of President George W. Bush include:

1. Ordering and directing "first strike" war of aggression against Afghanistan causing thousands of deaths;

2. Removing the government of Afghanistan by force and installing a government of his choice;

3. Authorizing daily intrusions into Iraqi airspace and aerial attacks including attacks on alleged defense installations in Iraq which have killed hundreds of people in time of peace;

4. Authorizing, ordering and condoning attacks in Afghanistan and Iraq on civilians, civilian facilities and locations where civilian casualties are unavoidable;

5. Threatening the use of nuclear weapons and ordering preparation for their use;

6. Threatening the independence and sovereignty of Iraq by belligerently proclaiming his personal intention to change its government by force;

7. Authorizing, ordering and condoning assassinations, summary executions, murder, kidnappings, secret and other illegal detentions of individuals, torture and physical and psychological coercion of prisoners;

8. Authorizing, ordering and condoning violations of rights of individuals under the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Eight Amendments to the Constitution and of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and other international protections of human rights;

9. Authorizing, directing and condoning bribery and coercion of individuals and governments to obtain his war ends;

10. Making, ordering and condoning false statements and propaganda and concealing information vital to public discussion and informed judgment to create a climate of fear and hatred and destroy opposition to his war goals.

President Bush is accused of Crimes Against Peace, War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity. No crimes are greater threats to the Constitution of the United States, the United Nation Charter, the rule of law or the future of humanity.

There hasn't been a president without skeletons in his closet, and dirt swept under his carpet since Kennedy. If not before. If Kerry had won, we would soon be having problems with him too. There are no honest politicians left in this country.

President is not impeachable over the Geneva convention. Take it up with the UN instead(seriously).

Isis: You have a point. Civiliains couldn't stand up to the army anyways. Still, I think your chosen course of protest probably one of the least effective.

In the .0000000001 percent chance you succed though, I suppose I won't really complain, though. :P

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If you don't like Bush, don't vote for him! He WAS reelected... :p

Don't flame me. Please :p

He WAS NOT re-elected. To do that, you need to have been elected in the first place, not appointed... or should that be annointed these days?

No. Let me explain things simply. The Electoral College has certified the election. It's over. Get over it.

I don't disagree that the Electoral College has certified Bush as President.

However, Bush cannot prove he won the actual popular or electoral votes from the people. Until there is verified voter paper trails --I will not "Get over it".

Do you not care that your vote no longer matters?

You have no facts to back up your assertation of being Queen.

Bush has facts to back up his assertation of being president.

You may disagree with those facts...

But then the burden of proof once again rests on you to disprove Bush's assertation.

Bush can only prove that he was voted in by the electoral college --that is enough to make him President legally. It is not enough to prove to me that this election wasn't fraud. The burden of proof is always on the claimant. Bush claims to be President by popular vote? Let him prove it. I claim that Bush can't prove the people voted for him -- guess what --he can't. There is no method of proving his vote count.

Even then there will be mistakes in a vote this size Kendra. The Dems claim to have "EVERY" vote counted was a hollow promise and only said to make them look good. I have no problem with taking reasonable measures to assure the correct man won but the difference between you and me is that I am satisfied that has been done just as I was when Clinton was elected. I am satisfied along with practically every prominent Democrat btw.

If the vote is so bogus then maybe your guy should have not conceded. His concession alone is makes your argument invalid, irrational and idiotic anyway. He gave up Kendra, he lost, he will NEVER be President. Sour grapes I say... Get over it and do something positive for our country for a change.

1) Clinton was able to prove his votes --as there was a method in place to adequately recount votes if needed.

2) Never confuse me with a Democrat. I'm no such animal.

3) Kerry conceded for the same reason that I have doubts in our current election procedure. He can no more prove his case, then Bush can prove his.

4) I'm not in this fight to make Kerry the President. I'm in this fight to ensure that ALL US citizens can be positive on their votes being counted. THAT, Billy would be a positive change for this country. Dontcha think?

5) Never ask me to "Get Over" the Bush administration's dismantling of everything that makes this country great. Get your head out of the damned sand. Fascism is not something to "Get Over".

6) Oh --and screw your "sour grapes" comment. It's beneath you.

Lance would you suggest complacency? We have to take action! When our children and our children's children look back and ask why didn't the American ppl do something at least I can say I did. His policies are not representative of myself and half the country. I have a dream.

They have the right to complain that both candidates suck.
