I'm sure it is. We all get amusement out of what foreigners think about our countries. The wiser among us take notice of it as well. Oh yes, it's been noted. _____________________

Read this, though why bother as anything you disagree with you will label as being biased against your Chimpanzee President http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=195&row=1 on a side note, so was Jesus. lol there are no sources for this, the link it gives is invalid. and this is a talk show guy's opinion. nothing in there is validated, its basically a blog. and i can take criticism of Bush as long as it has substance behind it, not these BS websites you pull up. oh and as for the your Chimpanzee President |

Greg Palast is an investigative journalist. He's not a "talk show guy". Read the FBI documents he mentions. Do some research. What would you take as a source? Seems to me if it's not FOX news you would claim it's just liberal hoohah. I'm done with you. _____________________

Ok, we'll take the animal references off the plate for a moment. We could discuss bush's desire to bring religion into government/schools, the war in Iraq, NSA wiretapping, reverse engineering of 25 years of environmental legislation, backing intelligent design (christian scientology?), anti-Pagan remarks, never veto'd a single bill, added more signing statements to bills than any president in history, vacations more than any other president in history, and has made many statements which were also used by Adolf Hitler. I am sure I could come up with more, if you like. _____________________

I sure would like you to come up with more, like some proof that #43 is quoting Adolf Hitler. Or as you say has "made statements which were also used by Adolf Hitler" Briana Dawson _____________________

I'll go with a bit of common wisdom that has never failed me yet:
1. Organizations are too collectively stupid to run successful conspiracies. 2. The only time a conspiracy succeeds is when those against whom the conspiracy is directed are stupider than the conspirators. That's very rare. 3. History is full of conspiracies. 99.99% never go beyond the "What if we were to...." stage. The other 0.01% fail. There was wreckage on the ground. I saw it with my own two eyes. The Bush administration moved the Saudis out post-haste because of long-standing personal and professional connections. Conspiracy? No. Bad judgement? Yes. The Bush Administration has been trying and failing to manufacture a conspiracy against what they perceive to be a global conspiracy ever since. In effect, they've been conspiring against themselves. Look at their record. Did I mention that conpirators are generally stupid? Finally, in certain Afghan tribal dialects, the word for "conspirator" is khlown. |

I would define 'Newsnight' as a news and current affairs programme. Certainly not what we would call a 'chat show' although your definition might vary.

not a talk show guy? you read the very first sentence? guess not so i'll make it easy for you how much more blatant do you need? oh and Fox news would be good as would say CNN, ABC, Yahoo!, NBC, Atlanta Journal Constituition, CBS is ok but I am weary of them ever since the "Bush Texas National Guard papers" incident, oh and some others like Skynews, BBC, and PBS, the list can go on He has a TV show --he's not a "Talk show guy". He's an investigative journalist with a television program. Not just a talking head commentator. He's also not owned and operated by the corporate media (unlike all the above you mention) _____________________

I don't know who Bill O'Reilly is, but from your description, I doubt very much whether your idea resembles the reality. exactly. Palast's program is more akin to what if Bob Woodward had a TV show during Watergate. Bill O'Reilly is closer to being a Rush LImbaugh if you know who that is --or if you saw the V for Vendetta movie --he'd be the fella that ran the "news" program. O'Reilly is a propogandist. Not a reporter. _____________________
