From: Kendra Bancroft Um. I was just linking to show the many connections between the Bush Family and The Bin Laden Family. For example the fact that Bush senior was having breakie with Shafiq Bin Laden that very morning of 9-11. The Bin Laden familys were flown out though as soon as the airspace ban was lifted on the 13th --that's not even disputable http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2001/09/30/archive/main313048.shtmldo you blame them for throwing them out? I would have too

From: Kendra Bancroft I think all things considered they might have been questioned first --don't you? what would be the point, they are estranged from Bin Laden anyway. they have repeatedly denounced him, disowned him and have cut him off from the family money. so naturally he's going to share his plans with his family right?

But they would have no idea where he might be or willingness to help the USA locate him? Questioning them couldn't possibly have helped find UBL at all. :::roll eyes::: That doesn't pass the smell test. sorry.

Also the fact that a site is biased does not mean that its information is unbelieveable it just means that alternative sources need to compliment the information, in my opinion. People tend to believe biased sources that agree with their veiwpoint more readily and automatically reject biased sources that do not. This is pretty normal i think.

That's what I was thinking. But if that's the case, why secretly whisk them away? Did the Bush administration also know that soon after 9/11 America would become extremely xenophobic and racist towards anyone of middle eastern (and at times Italian O.o ) descent? zOMG, another conspiracy!

From: Selador Cellardoor We were aware of a large movement of American 'survivalists', and I assumed that it was them who were behind the attack.
What foreigners think of Americans is endlessly amusing.

From: Lorelei Patel What foreigners think of Americans is endlessly amusing. I don't think "amusing" is what I would go with. I think I would choose the word disheartening. Of course... with our foreign policy, domestic policy, and all of the policies in between... I'm not surprised.

The bin Laden relatives were not "secretly whisked" out of the country, and it didn't happen during the period when flights were grounded or restricted. They were on a flight on the 20th. http://www.snopes.com/rumors/flights.asp-S

See post below. This was a duplicate. I'm afraid I am having Second Life forum issues today. Makes a change from Second Life problems, I suppose.

I thought that was common knowledge. As was the fact that evidence pointed to Saudi Arabia being the origin of the attack.

From: Billybob Goodliffe your own CBS link posted earlier says that. so grain of salt? only if theres tequila following it I was referring to the "secretly whisked out" portion. Were you aware this happened before CBS broke the story on Sept 30. 2001? Nobody else was aware of it. Sure would have loved to see the reaction in the airports filled with stranded Americans though.

Sure would have loved to see the reaction in the airports filled with stranded Americans though. where did secretly whisked out of the country come from? they chartered a plane and left once the travel ban was lifted
