Not so!

Eject effects an avatar.

One avatars existant at an arbitrary point does not effect another avatar.

Pierterson is a fairly well-known extreme property-rights obsessive - I don't think it's that productive arguing with him in general.

And Argent is a extreme access rights obsessive - difference is my leaning has a base in SL.

Eject send you off MY PAID FOR property. I would say knowing someone was on my land makes me feel uneasy. Knowing someone rooted through my stuff makes me feel ill. In sl and rl.

Some sort of therapy would seem appropriate.

We don't want access rights to your piddly piece of land! We just want to be able to fly around SL without being ejected WITHOUT WARNING!

No, you're ejecting out of the AIRSPACE ABOVE your paid for property.

Then I will put a small warning on. Not 10 seconds though.

Oh and what you are arguing for IS access rights.

I would have my porch locked off in rl if I could. My comfort on my land comes first.

Yes, I am arguing for access rights. Access rights just long enough for me to retrace my flightpath so I can leave your property. That's it. I don't want to stay, look around, touch any of your stuff. All I want is to be able to fly across the map without being unexpectedly thrown from my aircraft and possibly frozen by a client crash.

That would be an invasion of Jonas' personal "space" which has a strict 20 ft. limit on all sides, no warnings, either, before the punch to the face.

I just took a TP back to my old mainland home, and started flying in a random direction.

It took me less than five seconds to slam into an enormous ban-lined block. Oh - it's for sale? That's a really good idea!

I turned a bit to the left and flew for three seconds and hit some other big banned block, with no apparent reason for that either.

This is not funny.

If it makes you feel that bad, you should try a private island, or leaving SL, seriously.

Your paid for property that LL can take away from you at any time with no reason. Just remember that one.

Why should I have to pay for a private island to excercise what I can now on my property as is? I'm staying put, deal with the security.

Seriously, if you want to run my land's access PRIVILEDGES, buy it from me.

LL can take away an island too. Theres just more to lose if they do. All the more reason to keep the smaller plot. About 1250 USD more reason.

If you want to have a right of access, support it by giving me examples within secondlife, ones that matter.
I've been doing that throughout this discussion, as have many other people. We have all been giving concrete examples where restricting the right of way damages the enjoyment of second life for landowners (I can't move freely on my own land without being ejected from the sim), for people who own physical property such as airplanes, and for people who are simply moving normally about the world without any intention or possibility of causing you or any other harm.

You haven't even deigned to explain how you're harmed by giving fair warning to passers-by before interrupting their innocent journeys, other than hinting that your parcel is too small. In fact, it seems that unseating and ejecting people whose path clips the edge of your parcel is more likely to cause you grief than simply letting them go their way.

You know Jonas, I can really see now why people would want to grief you. I've had enough of your assanine remarks. Welcome to my ban list.

It seems, but it isn't true. And all I've seen is emotional based areguments..not logic based ones. Mine may be a personal emotional one too, but I own the land that is being discussed.

Unlike you, I only ban people who actually cause problems, not everybody who happens to be flying by.

Oh btw, I consider causing problems to everybody flying by to be griefing.

All the more reason to not shell out $1250 for an island that can be taken away on a whim
