This has been going on alot longer than 2 months was never this bad 2 years ago but all the bitching and whining isnt gona speed anything up. Not like there actually worried about how up set we are yano? Personaly im over it im tired of getting mad about all the money i was paying and never getting in the game on update days. So instead of bitch and complaing to LL who dont really care i tierd down there not getting the big chunk of my money anymore. Guess what they could care aless and unless all of ya had the marbles to do the same thing this will never change. Anyway i found a great game to play that FREE and is very cool so ya i still play here just not like i use to and i wont give them the money i use to so im happy and thats all that matters check out www.silkroadonline.net awesome game and 100% free

None of my ISPs ever have... and they've all been major providers. The trick is you have to ask for it. I've gotten so many free months out of time warner cable I don't even know why I bother paying anymore, I should just call up and bitch once a month (they do give excellent service, I think twice in a 6 month period I was w/o internet for 2 days apiece and I got something like 3 months free out of it. |

None of my ISPs ever have... and they've all been major providers. Mine have. Cox, Adelphia and Roadrunner in the last 4 years have gone down a few days and credited me with a few days (Adelphia did so without even calling to check on the problem). My Vonage went down for a few hours once, I was credited a whole day. EQ2 went down for a whole weekend, and they gave bonus XP for a week, a week of credit. |

I am a paying customer, and the outage does not upset me at all. However, I am a tech and understand that bugs (from minor to disasterous) happen. If you're so upset, you should call LL and scream at them to refund your money. ...oh wait If your a paying customer and a "tech" (LMAO), then you should understand what it means to have downtime every wendsday while STILL PAYING YOUR MONEY, and then on top of that, instead of fixing bugs in SL they just create mor- *friend from over there shoves popcorn in mouth* *starts to choke* _____________________

How about this, instead of going down for whole days, what about implementing small fixes every morning for an hour or two. Much more stable, and when there is a bug, much more easy to pinpoint?

LOL IPX is a basically a phone router that most call centers use, I know one day when our NAS took a dump ours got so overloaded it just shut down and flipped us the bird. All our customers ended up getting our voicemail. Bet that sucked for them lol. |

shit UO used to go down on a daily basis. this is nuthin.... UO was never down for more than 15 hours a week for a constant 6 months. I do remember a nasty patch for a couple of weeks, but nothing that comes close to 15/6. And considering how old UO is, and how pioneering it was (it's engine was built ground up), there would be problems starting out. But it doesn't go down that like 3 years after it was released. |
