Payment Info In Game Now - U Gotta B Kiddin Me Right ?!?!

Untill a couple of months ago, everybody had to have some kind of payment information at LL to enter SL. Why would now suddenly a hacker think: "Oh she has CC info at LL, let's hack that shit", if until recently he knew that of every resident.

Whats the big deal? If 'hackzors' wanted to know who has credit card info in their account just look at the land properties and see who owns the land. Hell if that aint a big enough group to start your hacking on what is?

I don't see how adding the info makes anyone more likely to be a hacker target. If they hack the whole database, why wouldn't they just grab everything? Individual passwords would need protection just like any online account you have.

<pet-peeve>On a completely unrelated bitchy note, I have a hard time reading sentences composed with "2" instead of to, and "u" instead of you. I guess if you are typing your forum post on a cell phone whilst defusing a bomb at a furry convention - and thus have to type wearing giant cartoon mittens - it's understandable. </pet-peeve>

I wonder if anyone has tried to make a machinima of 24 using furries? That would be pretty damn cool. On an unrelated note, most of the nicests people I've met in SL so far are furries, if I am allowed to count Lolo the giant spider as a furry, as she may not be a very furry spider...?

While I agree with what you have to say, I would like to correct this misstatment.

The above poster is what is commonly refered to as an AOLer. This bastardized language is called AOL Speak. It's characterized by heavy use of abriviations and slang with special characters and often heavy use of caps.

Leet or L33T Speak is sort for elite, and usually refers to those who use numers and special characters in substitution for individual letters.

Once again ignorance is bliss, shorthand typing a skill used/learned (if learning is possible within that person) to lessen the amount of time used speaking. Imbeciles have problems reading I understand this. Because they run rampant through Second Life, and here on Forums. Lets focus, the topic is about Lindens posting your payment information in Game. I understand its really hard to do that.

Public forum, honey, if you don't want to know what other people think then start your own and restrict it to your own posse that thinks you're cool because you refuse to communicate in a manner that demonstrates that you have the slightest bit of education.

Using shorthand and calling it English is NOT enough to make it English. You confuse those of us who don't have English as a first language, you confuse those of us with brain disorders such as dyslexia.... calling us Imbeciles for not understanding it is not at all fair. It's non-standard, it has no offical rules and its highly subject to change.

When I see this AOL-leet-garble it turns me off to reading a post completely, I live by rules of grammer and spelling(at least attempted) and a set of definitions and sounds called ENGLISH, which has been standardized since the PRINTING PRESS, all the way back to the black death when masses of people were no longer able to bastardize it by working in re-printing shops where it was all done by hand, instead the labor saving devices of movable type allowed rules to be set, rules we need to friggin FOLLOW.

So don't assume I'm dumb or un-educated.
