The thing is, those on that list could not be categorized as "the popular people". Many of them are extremely low key and avoid the spotlight. They were not picked for their popularity, they were picked for a wide variety of reasons. if it were purely a popularity contest, that would be a very different list. Sorry, didn't mean to imply you had by including the quote from your post. It illustrated my first point quite well. And, I see your analogy ... but its not one I would agree with. I wouldn't expect such a group to speak for the larger population. But that may just be me; Im a very literal and very linear person ... unless someone is specifically assigned to a role and accepts that assignment, in my mind they dont have the role ... doesn't matter what it is.  |

My popularity and kewlness has finally paid off as I am the proud subject of a two page thread started by Prokofy in the Second Citizen Forums. It is such a great honor bestowed. Prok has always ignored me occasionally referencing me as "flipper's girlfriend". I was beginning to think that I didn't matter, but now I know I make the cut.  _____________________

It is kind of the litmus test of knowing that you are doing something good - I rather enjoy it myself, it amuses me in it sheer absurdity. Welcome to the club. Maybe you will get even luckier and bump Ingrid out of the Toxic 20. You have your work cut out for you though, she is pretty toxic. _____________________

Yah I am getting to that point where its pointless to argue with the detractors because no matter what I say or what I do they will have the same assumptions about me or any of us really.
