Wow, almost a day and no "ZOMG ROLL it BACK NEAOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!"? Neat, it's been a long time since we've had a server update without a lot of chaos =)

I'm rather pleased, as I've been waiting for 1.27 to get some new products out

Prospero allowed region owners to request they be added to the pilot rollout list, and mine was added last year. Is there any way to get it added back on for future rolling restarts?

Yeah, we looked for the existing list but couldn't find it. I'm not sure where Prospero kept it. I've started a new list, so if you give me your region name, I'll add it to the pilot list once I've verified you're the owner. If we ever find the old list, we'll make sure all those regions are incorporated into the new list as well.

/me eyes the message curiously, thinking that Prospero's parting with LL must have been pretty brutal, for his successor to not simply send an email asking where the pilot list is.

/me also thinks its rather unlikely that LL has no record of what sims were updated when, from the last few restarts Prospero managed. That should show which sims were part of the pilot runs.

We have a list of the 500 hosts that were updated during a previous deploy, and that covered 2784 regions at the time. Which of those regions were specifically supposed to be in the pilot deploy is not discernable from that list.

well i dont know if its related, but my guess is a Yes,,, yesterday l lost 3/4 of my inventory...

i am a business owner,, IT SUCKS

am i the only unfortunate one going though that hell??

And why LL doesnt answer my ticket more than 24 hours after???

Where are you guys??

still celebrating 4th of July or what??

well i dont know if its related, but my guess is a Yes,,, yesterday l lost 3/4 of my inventory...

Most 'inventory loss' is actually just a cache error on the client side, generally you can clear your cache (Preferences -> Network -> Clear Cache) and relog and you will see all your inventory again.

I'm glad Sandbox Goguen and Sandbox Cordova were updated to 1.27, as a friend and I have discovered a very important issue while there: SVC-4530 - "no object entry parcels failing in 1.27"

thanks for the info, but i did this many times...

it took more than 36 hours to get my inventory back... and i cleared my caches and relogged i dont know how many times for this to finally happen...All this without any answer from the lindens..

Yes i got my stuffs back.. but i have to say, Lindens i do not thank you for the support, it was highly annoying.
So i never knew why it happenned nor did i know why it came back... So very reassuring

Wouldn't It Make Sense To Have A List On The Wiki, On A Sticky In The Forums, Or Both? So The List Is Not As Losable?
If On Forums, Under Server Deploys Would Be A Good Spot Probably , And Name It "Pilot Release Opt-in List" Or Something About Opting In.
If On Wiki Page Should Be Locked, And Requests Made On Its Talk Page. Maybe Something Like http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Pilot_Release_Opt_In_List
If On Both, Wiki Page Be A Copy Of One On Forums.

I hope that the re-start allows me to run the latest version of SL, as I have had to downgrade to SL 1.22.11 as I was experiencing sevre lagg despite restarts.

Linden have advised me to just get a new faster graphics card. Yes sure I will just go pick some money from the money tree outside.

Add Jarang as soon as possible.

Updates are indeed there, on the blog.

Traffic calculations are unlikely to see any big change until the roll is actually completed.
