I guess the thing that bugs me is how people can justify the parasitic advertising model in their minds in the first place. Are business owners entitled to suck attention and eyeballs away from other people's venues and hard work? Are they entitled to intrude on our consciousness day in and day out with ZERO consideration whatsoever?

I don't care about your justifications the facts remain... "buy access lines" are one of the things that people have raged in this thread about, and a group you are a very active member in, endorses them, uses them, and when given the chance... you did nothing about it but wink... despite one of the group clearly stating the obvious hypocricy.

I note one of the other group members has 315 plots across the grid and is charging as high as $10 a metre for a 512. I wonder... is he a part of the group solely so he can extort advertisers and other buyers out and raise his prices even further? Maybe you are a pawn in his game?

Forgive me for saying that your post is pretty insulting. What do you make and sell? Anything at all? What do YOU contribute besides YOUR precious build? You people crack me up. You buy 4096sqm of land and suddenly you want to tell everyone else what they can do with theirs, because you don't like the view.

DEAL WITH IT. There is no covenant in mainland which means I can use my land for anything I want within reason. I own exactly SIX ad lots that advertise MY OWN BUSINESSES. I'm busy reclaiming ad farms so they can't be used again. I know of tons of sims where there are no ad farms and no roads, I can show you a few if you like. I own homes in 3 mainland sims and there isn't an ad tower anywhere in sight. Just don't act like I'm the problem because I'm part of the solution. My trees, plants, reefs, fish and birds beautify sims all over SL. I'm a legitimate business owner, I make the things you buy. Get rid of people like me and this place would be pretty plain and boring.

And FYI: People do use the roads, that's why I put almost all my shops on the road. You'd be amazed how much walk in traffic I get even before I post my classified ads.

Stop justifying your harassing tactics, stop falsely accusing people of extortion when ya do it yourself

YOUR GROUP of 'buddies' extorted via use of "buy pass" lines
YOUR GROUP broke TOS by posting comments from inside SL to public websites
YOU abuse me personally in your quoted post accusing me of things not true - Don't accuse me of extortion i simply advertised my own businesses on my own land and my land wasn't for sale. Go have a look at my products - one brand alone is a whole sim of Garden products to beautify SL and i constantly get told how some of my products are the best around.

And i posted the comments of the single member who protested the tactic of "buy lines" to be fair and unbiased.
No-one else said a single word against it, and not further down in the post either as you try and state. In fact further down - one of your members proposes setting up an ad-farm yourselves... a contest for best blockers is proposed (more harassing tactics) and you all agree to keep attending your conspiring group to harass more land owners.

Stop justifying your harassing tactics, stop falsely accusing people of extortion when ya do it yourself - go and make something beautiful instead of continuing to distribute ugly fountains that aid the lag, eyesore hateful signs, and megaprim blockers that destroy neighbours views when ya only buy land on the sim to do that.

By the end of today i hope to have em all down..

I have spend half of my life in the totalitarian regime and I have pretty clear idea what opression of free speech is. Your message is very close to it. I am not going to get intimidated - especially not by the employee of the company which charge me hundreds of dollars for its questionable services.

Hi Katt, this is Luke Termagant. Your customer. I take your message as an attempt to censorship my opinions and I am going telephonically and also by letter to complaint to your employer.

Weedy Herbst repeatedly called me an extortionist and a loser which is clearly not even against TOS by also as you say "out of the line". But you have decided to warn ME for my reaction to her repeated insults. I ask you to give her and also others warning for using abusive expressions. If you fail to do that, it will be the sign that your are not objective and therefore you can not moderate the SL forums anymore. Double standards in the discussions are unaceptable.

There is nothing wrong about my questions - I have an absolute right to ask about anything I want and use irony whenever I feel it is appropriate. If you have any problem with that, you should consider your position at the company. In the context of our debate I have all reasons to believe that your "friendly warning" is nothing more than the attempt to silence critical oposition against preparing changes in the advertisement industry.
