After years of looking at drawings on Elfwood, I think most of the Frankenbarbies are RL women. The art style seems amazingly popular among untrained tweens and teens.

If I hadn't taken art classes, and done a lot of 3D art a few years back, I'd probably be happily running around on my own Frankenbarbie... Or at least, my best attempt at a Franken-chola.

It helps to:

#1 - Know something about who you are talking crap about
#2 - At least seen the person you are talking crap about before insulting their looks
#3 - Remember that that the people playing avatars in SL have an actual RL with other real people in it and things that define them as someone other than who they are in a Second Life in some way or another.

When my mother was in her 60s radical phase (back in the 80s), she explained that the population isn't zero because all hetero-sex is rape...

She had a million ways of rationalizing women that were aggressive about hetro-sex, and never seemed to notice lesbian women that were violent or forceful despite that being the first 2 of her 3 partners over the years.

Someone was saying something about being naked and not getting attention. I said wearing lingere looks a lot sexier then wearing nothing. I also commented on females looking better while being more shapely and with color.

Unlike you, I never pointed fingers. I never do because people will always "out" themselves without names being mentioned. It never fails in this place, thats the best part about it. So where did I insult your looks? Go on, quote me. You won't find anything where I mentioned you or anyone. You assumed I was but you have no proof. If anything you called yourself boney .... and ugly, was it? Not me.

You took it personal and began taking shots at me. Not the first time since you've done it before. I just never found anything you had to say interesting enough to shoot back your way although you do talk alot, yes you do.

Bit of a History lesson ..

At one point, not to long ago, it was thought only men enjoyed sex. Women of course were ladylike and enjoyed no such thing.

Many women however had trouble with "Hysteria", a medical condition. The treatment for which was manual stimulation to paraoxism.

The doctors of course soon grew tired by all this manual stimulation and requested the medical supply community to invent automatic devices that would bring about this state of treatment.

And thus the vibrator was invented.

And that just baffles me. I've yet to meet a hetero-guy that knew how to get tired of curing hysteria by bringing about paraoxism.
- They seem to have an infinite enthusiasm for helping women suffering from this condition, and if you're not suffering, they'll do their best to try and convince you that you are and need medical attention anyway.

Actually, I can see all angles of this issue. Just depends on who you are in RL and who/what you want to be in SL.

I was at a shop yesterday and surprised to hear some people talking away in voice. I couldn't see their avatars because the shop was crowded and laggy. Based on the voices, I could hear one guy and 2 or 3 women. When their avas finally rezzed, three women, one guy. All three women -- huge butts and boobs. I suspect they looked just like they wanted to look. OK by me. The guy actually looked normal in SL terms.

Lesson learned: Frankenbarbies may really be women in RL.
