I started with the SE for my first modded skin. When I found Pleaides I was (almost) in heaven. But it's too perfect complexion-wise so I changed the underlying texture so it was more freckly and random. Then I toned down the boob shading, changed the lipstick & eye shadow and uh, hmmm, worked on other places. But I ain't talking. And you don't really need a mirror. But it helps.

Well i doubt that will happen.

I just prefer to be left alone. Not pursued and harassed, and having people paste threads to me that some hater has started specifically about me in another forum to increase the hate or join in it.

What gets me though, is that so few good skin makers make darker tones - some of us after all, want a skin tone that looks more like we might in RL. And not everyone on the planet in RL is descended from Europeans.

I've been thinking of IMing my favorite skin maker and asking her to put out something a little more chocolaty for me...

actually most of the half decent skin makers I've seen sell in a variety of skin tones (although Asian and really dark tones need some more presence) the biggest problem that I've seen is that a lot of the under represented tones don't have shading that would match typical, or even idealized body proportions for different regional ancestries, everyone seems to shade for proportions of greek or norse mythological dimension.... skin tone means nothing if it's not shaded to match the common proportions.... and leaves everybody looking like some quasi-exotic euro-mix... meh, boring.

Wow, things one misses when one goes away! Okay, I take sex stuff seriously. Esepcially with my sl partner. Yeah, I'm pretty well into "doing" anything with him and with any man who attracts me. I am not monogamous in sl although my partner feels no need for exploring. He says I am more than enough The wide range of partners is very satisfying and its a great way to meet people. Some of my best friends are one-night stands.
I keep roughly the same etiquettes (nicely put, Shu!). If you feel "kinda strange" just remember that it IS sex with a partner but it's masturbation as well - a kinda hybrid "cybersex". Despite what people may tell you, its not gonna make your fingers drop off. Yes, it IS a good question and I have just been reading the replies. SL is all things to all people. Maybe its a question of people "transferring" their RL attitudes to SL. People comment I am very 'real" here and that maybe a good point for all of us. In real, only the other day, a girl I know and I were talking about men and stuff, and she said something like, it's always hard to actually get time to sleep with a guy you like - well, the gist of it is that we both see a man as "sleepable" - not just a friend. SL is intimate in its design - obviously I am alone right now, for example, so we meet men in privacy (via SL on internet often in bedroom.) I dont come to sl in my best rave gear. Usual I am in pjs and a tee shirt so I am "dressed and ready to go". (Okay, drop the idea of me in my Spongebob pjs). A man hitting on me stands a good chance of me taking the bait coz I am willing and able.
