YOU quickly responded to the second poster and not the OP. And continued to do so for several pages in your usual trollish manner.

Agreed the first poster was innocently asking. And I believe the second poster was innocently asking also. Instead of the usual suspects running over to take the thread in the usual direction and insisting the second poster is the bad guy they could have all just posted slurls to the appropriate skin stores and discuss that topic.

The second poster could have been educated in private IMs and sent some notecards with links to other discussions about what they wanted to know. Going on for 20 paged (in the wrong direction) and labeling some troll but not others just creates more dramaz around the subject. The second poster may have been unbiased several pages ago but the pile on response is nothing positive to take away from this thread.

One confirmed incident a month of virtual pedophilia a month for two years is not considered a low number of incidents. And one a month is what LL chooses to publicize. Most organizations aware of this trend would strive to make positive changes to do better and ensure their concerned customers.

Free expresion is already stifled in Second Life. No one is beating their chest to allow the adfarmers to expression themselves. There are organized groups against adfarming, rape and other activities in SL that some consider unsavory. This subject happens to be debatable in SL and RL because if screenshots of some child avatar activity were published on the web it would be considered virtual child porn. Already one person was banned from flikr for posting pictures from a virtual nude beach in SL that showed nude child avatars in the group of nude adult avatars. This sort of behaviour does not translate well outside of SL.

I really do hope the next poster that asks THE QUESTION can be educated and not piled on and labeled a troll. Just because his opinion differs from the usual suspects that come out, guns ablazin' in defense of child avatars.

That poster was out of line. The majority of posters agreed. I think you are the only one who asked that he be handled with velvet gloves.

It seems that your idea of fairness means that people who agree with you should not be contradicted in any way, and those who don't agree must be silent.

Sexual ageplay is just a phrase LL made up to soft peddle virtual pedophiia taking place on their severs. Ageplay is traditionally a BDSM term. LL put the word 'sexual' in front of it to describe people maquerading as children and engaging in virtual sex. Wiki even gives credit to SL for creating the phrase. It is understandable that LL would not want the word 'pedophilia' in their documentation sanctioning child avatars. Remember the word 'Rez' did not exist until it was made up for the movie 'Tron'
