ok, myself and my fellow club owners are confused. Does this mean you just have to have your mature sim with adult content protected with the age verification of those entering, or does it mean that you cannot have ANY adult content or business on any sim other than the new adult Zindra?

That is about the only clear thing. If you have an Adult business, it must be on Zindra...or a private estate.

You can't have any adult content of a commercial nature on any sim other than either Zindra or an estate that is marked adult for the entire Sim.

The good news is that Zindra prices appear to actually be getting lower...

The bad news is that this might now last very long past the 15th...

The counter good news is that a LOT of mature estates are likely to go adult in the near future, and just use covenants to find a middle ground between adult and mature, keeping Zindra prices from getting out of hand...

You can have adult content on any adult sim. Zindra is the only part of mainland that contains adult sims, there are plenty of private estates that are flagged as adult too.

Age verification is a rubbish parcel setting by the way, don't take that with you if you need to move.

Estate managers need a tool to scan the region for any prim with an adult flag word. At the moment these people think we are supposed to physically examine 15,000 prims on a daily basis. I don't think they would fare well in front of a judge unless they provided a self enforcement tool that identifies an object that can show in search for adult words and gives it's location so it can be examined and removed if necessary.

Bah, you should come up here some time. Winter is still only one season (and in this part of the country the snow *usually* stays in the mountains even then).

Either I'm not getting out much or going to the 'exciting' places.....I NEVER see any of that stuff!

Sorry if this has been covered but I've read every statement by Blondin in that office hour log and I've seen nothing that indicates what I've quoted. If I've missed something, would someone point me to the time in the log when it was stated?

Also, nowhere in there did anyone ever ask the simple question: "Can I get jiggy with it in my private home on mature land?"

I guess I need to attend the next one of these and ask it - if I can recall when it is. Its a simple question, and if its never asked, of course they've never answered it:

"Can I have and use sex-animations and sex-animation items on my private non-commercial home on mature land? Do they have to be in skyboxes? Inside? Or can they be in the open at ground or a common height? Or in the open in the remote-sky (above 1000m?)?"

i'll go by what the CS and maturity definitions say rather than Blondin...They change less than he does

I believe you're reading too much into this or are confusing what you intended with what you actually asked.

The way you phrased the question, it comes out as "If someone has something that's in violation, what will happen?" There's nothing to indicate that you were asking about what is or is not allowed on private estates.

I asked Blondin this one months ago, and he said yes, if they're inside. You can even have them in a skybox above your non-sexual mature-land store so long as they're not advertised or public.

In fact this is the question that made me start the adult content Q&A page on the secondlife wiki that led to Lord setting up the slapt.me wiki.

IF this encompasses all adult content, not just businesses, as they have repeatedly stated, then LL can go to Hell and do their own dirty work. I wouldn't file an AR if I saw two nuns and a penquin wearing a strapon going at it at The Governor's Mansion.

It was asked, frequently, when all this started back in April. Short answer, yes, you're ok with stuff in your private non-commercial home on mature land, so long as it's indoors and not publicly advertised. If it's al fresco, no matter what the altitude, it really should be on adult land.
