I've already stated in this thread that the content of the outburst was way over the top. But, before the content, came the reason for it - the cause of it. That's what we are discussing, no matter how much you try to turn it to other things, such as the content, or my bots, or whatever else you've tried to turn it to. You are the guilty one. You caused it all. You are a nasty piece of work.

Ya know, Pep, I have done my damnedest in the past week or more to remain on friendly, or at least, civil terms with you. I made a public apology to you that, frankly, you managed to turn into an opportunity to inflict humiliation by asserting, on a couple of occasions, that it proved that I had (like a naughty schoolgirl) "learned my lesson." While I was pretty steamed about your condescension and insensitivity, I held my tongue.

Then I opened this thread. First, you decided to derail it by making it the newest staging ground for your running feud with Rhonda. (And please, spare me the protestations of innocence: you have been taking every opportunity to reiterate your outrage against Rhonda on threads throughout this forum, regardless of its relevance to the OP.)

Then, to add insult to injury, you impugn my motives and my integrity by asserting, with absolutely NOTHING in the way of actual proof, that I was being disingenuous about the uses to which I was going to put the information I received from people here.

Pep, you have talked about how "respect" must be earned. It is pretty clear that, in your eyes, I have failed in that regard; I find it inconceivable that you would treat anyone you respected in this kind of way.

Well, I'm done. I for my part have no wish to have further communications with someone who so clearly thinks so little of me: my self-respect extends that far at least.

I find this rather sad. I am sure you won't. I still do not consider you an "enemy," but you have made it utterly impossible for me to think of you, in any shape or form, as a "friend."

Oh well. Should the "old" Pep, who at least leavened his attacks with a bit of wit, tolerance, and affability, resurface, have him give me a call.
