We has land! Approx 9300 sq.m in Zindra, on a steep bank protected on one side by the Gov. owned river system.

I want to do an open air build down the side of the hill. I think I want to buy a sculptie set, preferably with textures included. Any suggestions?

Congratulations on your new place! What sort of sculptie set? If it's rocks you want, the Rock Wizard is pretty cool. You wear the gadget (a wizard hat) and click it. It sends you to a website where you pick your sculptie shape and its texture from a fairly extensive assortment.

Your chosen rock is created in world. You can then edit it (stretch, re-size, etc.).

Bear in mind that sculpties are made to be seen, not walked upon.

@3 mostly, but other might be interested -- Today only at Mischief, anything that is primarily orange is marked down to L$50

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Mischief%20Isle/45/154/21

ETA - the only things I found that were mostly orange were a few tops (3 or 4), a couple of pairs of socks, a couple of skirts, a skirt outfit, a shorts outfit.

I always disliked that about sculpties :(

Course you can add the . . um, what I removed, mmph - put in sculptie premade then put in a second prim underneath that is just plain, just there to give it the ability to be walked on.

Hmmm, I think I'm settling on ruins of some sort. That gives me flexibility for open areas and (partially) closed spaces too. And another couple of ideas I have fermenting.

The Rock Wizard sounds good. I could probably use some rocks and other debris in the ruins.

Yes, phantom sculpties with invisible prims beneath. :)

Flavored water that has nothing but sodium in it seems to be working somewhat.
If you have some whole cloves in your spice cabinet you can tuck one of those in your mouth, it will numb the area and give you nice breath too. :)

I probably don't I have cloves, but thanks :)

Problem with the cloves and whiskey ideas (separate ideas, not together, I don't think), is that I am at work. Drinking flavored water. I bought a ton of it since it mildly helps. Two issues: 1) I didn't bring enough; 2) it tastes horrible now. heh

I, apparently, will have drugs available to me when I get home. Some kind of pain killer and anti-botics. And then I get to face dentist tomorrow, finally found out.

I imagine that all of my savings, what that is still left, will be placed into my mouth. And I know, from prior experience, that this will not be a one visit procedure.-

I have so many other moments at the event that made me feel good about SL and the metaverse, Burning Life and humanity as a whole.
I felt that way when I saw the final gathering around the burning man. Everyone coming together for peace, why can't it always be like this?

And OMG the Bumble Bear Race ROCKED!!!! It was so much fun and the Bumble Bears were so funny. Loki posted a video of it:

I'm bad bad kitty :( I haven't had a dentist for several years. Supposedly the one I might be able to see tomorrow would have seen me on Sunday if I had been a regular patient.

Same dentist as the one I used last time, though. If I can't get in tomorrow, I'll see about antibiotics. Since I'm not a regular, they will probably be reluctant.

They make me want to crawl into a hole and then bounce out again and pace and whimper and crawl into a hole again. Stupid teeth.

The last time I put off going to the dentist, I had 3 back teeth on each side broken out. My teeth "de-calcified" so they tend to break. By the time I got to the dentist, all he could do was yank all 6.

Do you know how hard it is to eat crunchy foods with only a few back teeth remaining??

A warm soaked tea bag can also help with the discomfort.

The temple was a heap of ashes. Mari seems pleased. The picture was irresistible!

Ack. Other than my wisdom teeth, I've never had a major dental tragedy so I don't know how bad it is. I have had god horrible ear aches though that made my teeth hurt along with them. They hurt like something you wanted to gouge out but couldn't reach :( Hope the antibiotics etc are formidable and the dentist works magic tomorrow.

Trying to remember the secret of the post wisdom teeth thing healing..I think I just took my pills, rinsed on schedule, slept and drank loads of fluids. Good luck :o

I could be misremembering but I was told not to do that in the post op pamphlet. I think it had something to do with bleeding or causing pockets or...? I can' remember it was so long ago. Just that the surgeon specified not to do that, and made kind of a thing of it. Might want to double check, just in case.

Looked it up and now I remember. It'd risk pulling off the callous/sutures scab with the bag. Probably won't apply to you.

Yeah, 4 at once, anasthesia, the whole bit. I try not to think of the shedding stitches in my mouth...but I figured better to deal with it at once rather than the 2 that had to come out right then and then 2 the same way in a year or 2. Never regreted going with an oral surgeon despite how unpleasant the following 3 days were.

As part of my Sale Reporting duty -- Ingenue has marked a bunch of stuff 50% off and apparently also has an outlet area in the main store near the fitting rooms. Sale goes thru Nov. 1st.

The WORST part of having teeth yanked without being put "out"... you can FEEL your jaw swivel 90 degrees and HEAR the crunch of bone.

Best part was, one tooth had roots long enough to poke into my sinus cavity. While it helped straighten out my sinus issues, for the next few days I was able to shoot liquid thru my mouth, up into my sinuses & out my nose!!!

I still have 3 of the teeth that remained intact when extracted. Its kinda cool to see bits of MY jaw bone still attached.

I might have to post pics of them. :D

FYI: when having a cavity drilled & filled, I DONT use Novocaine!! LOL! I've fallen asleep in the chair while the dentist filed down a tooth to put a cap on it. No novocaine with that either!!

Awesome pics!!!

Although... on closer inspection, that dance looks mighty painful on the wrists... ah well, she's young and flexible!

We are exchanging top secret SL info, but if we gave you any more details, we would have to kill you.

I thought everyone was absolutely grim-faced and determined to hit 100,000?

No one said anything to me about "fun"!
